My daughter was 26 months old when her brother was born. I walked into the living room and he had a few gold fish in his mouth... thank goodness he didn't choke on any of them!
So scary! And so glad you were able to use those mommy instincts to fix the situation!!!

Morning everyone! I love my "friends that live in my computer." I got no shame. If you think about it back in the old days pen pals were often considered a person's dearest and truest friend. The written word is rather special in my mind and so connecting in written format, with pen and paper or electrinicly, is very real.
QOTD: I am CPR certified through my work. We have CPR codes maybe once a month or so. I am not the nurse so I am the person on the phone to 911 while they do the heavy work but I am trained to step in. In emergencies out in the world I am always willing and able to do the first responder thing. A few weeks ago I witnessed a five car accident that was pretty nasty. I pulled over, threw on my hazards, told my teen ager to stay in the car, and went to work. Each of the cars had injured people and they all looked at me with my big ass tattoos like I was crazy until I got them to focus, stay seated, evaluated them for bleeding, and got them to calm down. Tattoo lady turned out to be handy. One of the cars had three little toddlers in the back seat and they were so freaked out. I got the girl her little tiny glasses that had flown off her adorable little face and talked them all through things until the EMTs arrived. Their driver, a grandmother, had a very badly broken wrist. She was in shoc****pt the kiddos calm except for the little guy with some severe neck trauma and bruising from his car seat. Once the police cleared me to leave I hoped back into my car and started to head out. My daughter looked at me with the biggest eyes and said, "Oh my God! You actually are a hero!" I laughed. She was so funny. I told her I'm not a hero just good in emergencies, let there be a spider and I lose my mind. LOL
Menu:
B: Greek yogurt
L: 1/4 grilled chicken breast left over from last night and a tortilla
S; Cheese stick, Greek Light and Fit Blueberry
D: Hamburger with cheese and no bun, roasted brocolli
S: Grapes and blueberries and HOPEFULLY not any Saltines. Now that I banished the pretzels the crackers are haunting me. Going to throw the last of them out tonight and refuse to allow salty carb yummys into the house. Apparently I simply CAN"T resist them if they are around.

E, that is so amazing. I think that being able to keep people calm in an emergency is a special skill. You're a good egg.
Thank you. You already are a super hero!! You even have magical powers and mutant abilities. I bet you would do the same thing in that situation if you had the same training background. People just do what they can. We all do our best most of the time.
Except if there are pretzels or saltines involved...then I am just good at forgiving myself after. LOL
