I use your screen names. I'm not sure I know everyone's real name. And yes, even though I'm still a newbie, you guys have become my support group. So I talk about this group to dh all the time.

I worry that he is getting sick of hearing about RNY. He's also getting a little freaked out about me losing weight, starting to wear makeup again and getting blonde streaks in my hair. But to his credit, he hasn't said a word.

I talk about you guys all the time.  I usually use the OH names, unless it's something from facebook, then I'll use your name.  Hubby has actually met Cheapskate and her hubby, so when I talk about her I use her real name, and of course Melissa.  I don't have any real life friends named Melissa, so when I talk about her he knows exactly who I'm talking about.

I don't chat with my hubby at all with anything related to WLS, or OH. Occasionally I'll bring something up- that I'm sure he quickly forgets. When I met Grim & JB,, he was there, but I'm sure he didn't get 1/2 of what we were saying when it came to WLS stuff.

I've been part of another line community for over 10 years, and he know that 've been part of it- but doesn't know the 'players' in that group either.

QOTD: I was certified CPR about... oh 25 years ago. The compression rate has changed since then. I'm certainly not your first choice if you need it, but I'd definitely try if I had to. The Heimlich scares me, but again, I'm grabbing your ass and throwing down if I need to!

B: Premier Protein Shake

L: Can of smoked oysters and 4 ritz crackers

S: Premier Protein Shake

D: Not positive, but probably some of the spaghetti sauce I made last night!

I'm tired today too... but it's not a lack of ME not sleeping! It's our 2yo Foster dog, Gypsy. Little brat has woken me up two nights in a row. Last night it was at 4:37. My alarm goes off at 5:25. I climbed back into bed after she went potty (she did have to poop, can't blame a girl that has to poop I guess) and fell back asleep. I probably should have stayed awake, because then I hit the snooze until 6am! LOL Suffice to say I was both sleepy and late to work - thank goodness my boss doesn't notice/care!

Good morning, I too have trouble sleeping most nights, but I've slept pretty good the past 2 nights.  Last week I was up for 23 hours one night.  Had to go in to work late because I finally fell asleep around 4:30 am, allowed myself to sleep until almost 7:00 a.m. just so i could face the day.

My pre-sleep routine is not to exercise after 7:00 p.m., if I need a tylenol, take it before 8:00 p.m, I have a cup of tea with miralax somewhere between 8:30 and 9:30, also I turn the televsion off and don't go on the computer or phone after 9:00 usually.  Sometimes I do look at my phone for a bit longer.  I try to go to bed by 10:30 at the latest because I get up at 5:00 or so.

QOTD.  I have actually done the Heimlich before on my oldest child when she choked on a mozzarella stick while were at a restaurant in Vermont.  Scared us both silly.

B:  1 egg, 1 slice provolone, 1 mini jones turkey sausage

L:  Same as yesterday, a piece of the stuffed zucchini and some of the extra stuffing (ground turkey, zucchini, onions, cheese)

D:  Shrimp

S:  Babybel & Mary's gone crackers

No totals yet, will have to see if I need more protein.

Good Morning!

I woke up with a terrible headache. We haven't been sleeping well at our house - my oldest son is a sleep walker and comes and gets in our bed. So we started locking our bedroom door and he would go back to his bed. About 3 weeks ago we got a call from the neighbor at 12:30 A that our son had crossed the street and was at their door! Another time up north he walked down to the lake, and more recently opened the garage and left it open. So we have using the garage door dead bolt and bought a chain lock (like at a hotel) for the front door, we put it at the very top where he can't reach. Or so we thought. Yesterday morning the front door was wide open...he used his foam baseball bat to slide the lock out. I'm at my wits end - I'm so terrified he's going to get hurt or something bad is going to happen. But I am also tired of him being in our bed. Our pediatrician said all we can do is just try to make sure he can't get out. It's just scary and frustrating all at the same time.

I think I could do both CPR and Heimlich in a pinch. I let my CPR certification lapse since I'm no longer in a direct patient care area.

Time Since Surgery: 16 months

S: Hardboiled Egg & Babybell Cheese
