People watching
Going to an amusement park feeds my secret obsession of people watching, which these days basically means; trying to pick out the body shape I think I resemble.
I was standing in Line yesterday and a woman was buying a size 10 something, I was buying a size 12. I couldn't wrap my head around the fact I was only one size away from her. I liked her shape- I could live with myself in her form.
todays yielded a million more of those thoughts-- picking out the shapes I admire. I've always done this-- but it's a different perspective now.
random musings.... I swear I need a real hobby.

I can't even imagine trying to choose someone from a crowd that has the same body type as myself. Honestly, I think I have no clue, really, what I look like. But I don't spend much time thinking about it, either.
I do love people watching though. I spent a lot of time at the fair last week looking at a huge range of people. Fascinating.

There is a neat site where real people submit their pictures with their height and weight.
Photogentic Height and Weight chart
This a great way to people watch and compare how they look at their height and weight
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
As an obese person (which I still am), I don't know if this would work for me, because I always think I am smaller than the next obese person.
I don't know if that's too much vanity, denial, or something in between! LOL
I'm curious how I'll be as I lose more weight...

I was the same way!! For me, I think it was some sort of self-preservation mechanism. I don't think I would have ever left the house if I knew how big I really was.
It does seem to swing the other way as we lose. We seem to have trouble realizing we are as small as we are.

Thanks, I was hoping I wasn't the only one. Now if I see a picture of myself, that's a different story. But then I just blame it on the lighting, angle, or some other anomaly that makes me look fat!
Will be interesting as I get thin to see the pendulum swing the other way.
