Good Monday Morning Everyone!

QOTD:  I used to be always terribly late.  Once it was my birthday and we were having a party at my mom's house and I was actually on time.  I got there and no one was there, including my mom.  Then her answering machine went off and it was my brother saying, "We're going to be a bit late, but that's okay since Karen is always late anyway."  Turns out she had told me an hour earlier than she had told everyone else to come!

Yesterday I ate:  a protein drink, a muscletech mission 1 protein bar, cottage cheese, Mr. Cheese O's, steak & broccoli, 2 string cheese sticks and a Power protein bar.

Have a great day today, everyone!

~ Karen

That's hilarious about hearing the message. I've kind of had the same experience when I talk to my mom on the phone. My oldest sister's voice and mine are exactly alike. I've actually had my mom start talking about me, thinking I was my sister. Not funny at the time!

Morning y'all,  haven't posted in  awhile been super busy at work and taking a mini vacation on the 4th.  Hope everyone has been doing ok.

QOTD:  I am one of those early early people.  My tour of duty starts at 7:30am  but I always get here at 6:30am  I like to ease into my day lol.  My pet peeve are late people.  I would fire everyone I work with just about. I think you should be at your duty station ready to work at 7:30am not just walking in.  I am so anal about that lol. My best friend is always late.  We went on a cruise together one time and I thought I was going to have to throw her over the rail she drove me so crazy being late.  I would be up showered dressed make up on and she would still be in bed drinking coffee.  I told her never again would I go with her. lol

I have my first colonoscopy scheduled for Monday and they told me to be off all vitamins the week prior.  I called my surgeons office to get the ok to stop the vitamins and they said it was fine (darn them! I was hoping they would say no way).  However I forgot and drank a premiere protein which is filled with vitamins.  So will have to find something else for breakfast this week.

B-premier protein

S-yogurt and babybel

L-bbq pulled pork

s-cherries

D-going out for supper for Mexican so who knows

I've never heard of that being off vitamins for a colonoscopy.... the colonoscopy is not so bad... eat lightly the day before- which we do anyway and there shouldn't be too much drama with the 'prep'...LOL

I deplored late next shifters.

If I wasn't at least 30 minutes early I was late. Best way to ease into work.

Good morning gang!  Today starts my first full week at home with my kids.  I have a plan to do some walking today with my 2 year old.  we have an awesome public library only 1 mile from my house, and I just got a new jogging stroller last week.  So, I see many trips to the library in our future.  we also have a kick ass park 2 blocks from us.  I have to say, I live in an awesome neighborhood, and I'm looking forward to seeing which Pokemon I can catch while out walking with my kiddo

KQOTD: I am a reformed late arriver.  My hubby is an early arriver, so when we are together we are usually right on time.  I used to be chronically late for work, but over the last few years I have become an arrive right on timer.  I'll never be an early person, but hubby and I have come to an understanding and work well together.

Speaking of hubby, he's leaving out today and won't be home tonight.  He may also not be home tomorrow night, but that will depend on how well his call goes tomorrow.  He's driving to northern Michigan, only a 4 hour drive, but he's doing an install so that will take a while.  Anyway, I'm not too concerned about it.  It's funny, now that I"m home and don't have to deal with the stress of work to get home and deal with the kids alone, and get up and do it again on my own, I don't really have a huge problem with him travelling.  At least not yet.

this menu is AWESOME today.  I'm going to do my very best to stick to it.  I don't have any trigger foods in my house, and if I do add anything it will be a small serving of pork rinds that I bought to keep me from shoving something less healthy in.    I will also add my weight to my daily posting.  I don't always log my ups and downs, but this morning I was at 164.6.  still up over a pound from my lowest from a few weeks ago.  I went to a graduation party yesterday and had some pasta salad and too many corn chips.  they had sloppy joes, but other than that there was absolutely no protein.

I am so glad you are ok with Hubby being gone, I know that can be stressful!!  I wish my kids would go in a stroller still, but they always want to walk, which is great for them....but makes it so I have to walk at a snails pace....not really getting my heart pumping...ya know?  lol

I would imagine if I had 2 that it would be more difficult to walk with them.  I also have the 16 year old here, and I think I'm going to make him come to the library with me today and renew his library card.  the library even has a little coffee shop inside, so we can get a drink and have a nice outing.

A coffee shop in the library???  I would probably be able to convince hubby to go to a library like THAT!! lol

We have a nice double stroller that they both fit in, but they just WONT stay in it! lol

Oh my gosh, we have the exact opposite problem - both of my kids want to be in the stroller. We have a side-by-side double but 1. it's wide and inconvenient, and takes up almost the entire trunk of my Journey and 2. the oldest is getting too big!

I'm worth it!
