What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
I was late to my own wedding. Everyone lies to me and tells me that events start earlier then they do. I arrive to work right on time. But, I'm late for everything else.
TOAST, so early out. I won't touch white trash food, at least not until I reach goal. And even then, I will do my best to stay away from that evil stuff.
Meals: protein coffee, kabasa & berries, Starbucks cool brew with sugar free vanilla syrup, Alaskan king crab, nectarine, more kabasa.

Questions, questions, questions I have so many questions. I was wondering (even for those of you post op a year or more what the total quantity of your meals are. 1 cup, 1/2 cup, don't measure at all, just eat till feeling full? So if your menu consists of what Angry Viking ate, what quantity was each meal?
One of the nurses in my surgeon's office is 2 years post op and only consumes 1 cup per meal. What say you?
Well, I go more by weight than volume at this point. I will weigh out my deli meats and cheese and even my eggs. So, I guess I'm at like probably 4-5 oz. at each meal, depending on how hungry I am and even what time of day it is. The learning curve for me was steep as hell, so I just sort of found my way as I progressed.
Ok. That's what I wanted to do too is to weigh everything because that's what I'm used to doing from my WW days. Dietician said NO. I have to measure everything to make sure I'm not going over 1/2 cup. Volume vs. weight. I still say that is doesn't make sense because I can cut things up pretty small to get a lot into a 1/2 cup measure, but she's the one with the degree, not me. Thanks for your input.
