What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Awesome news about the MRI! Here's hoping the chiro/ortho can help you figure out what's causing the pain....
I'm glad your MRI was clear. But STOP biking 80 miles and running 15 until they get to the bottom of the problems. If you cause greater damage, it might be a lot longer before you get back to working out. Then you'll really be kicking yourself. If, you know, you are still physically able to kick yourself.
If you end up in a cast, don't come crying to me.

He probably meant normal human being light exercise, not Nikki light exercise . . .

I'm only a 1 month and 3 days post. I'd love to see what people are eating only being out this short of time. I'm doing eggs (1 at a time), only allowed 1/2 slice of toast occasionally, cottage cheese, chicken, only 2TBS of veggies at a time. Plus my protein shakes, water, water, and more water. Thank goodness I love water as long as it has a ton of ice in it.
You'd be doing yourself a favor by putting toast on your do not eat list. Permanently. It's the start of a very slippery slope.

appreciate your feedback. However I don't think it's realistic to never, ever, ever allow carbs to touch my lips again. I'm not sure what your experience has been and I certainly don't want to sound "snarky", but 1/2 slice of toast did not get me to 257#. Reeces cups yes; toast.....no. Nor do I crave carbs after the 1/2 slice of toast. Again, appreciate your thoughts and input. Keep it coming.
I didn't take it as snarky, and I never said you shouldn't never, ever allow carbs again. I just said toast. I should have added crackers. Or CRACKers as many call them.
I have seen more people derail their weightloss and start regain from toast and crackers than any other foods. And every single one of them thought they could handle just a little with no problem.
But after a half slice comes a full slice, then 2. Then the butter, peanut butter, jam . . . And before you know it, you have an entire day's calories in toast and crackers.
If you can handle it, great. But 4 weeks out is awfully early to be getting back on that train.
