What's On Your Monday Menu, RNYers?
Monday. We meet again. I swear, I need a weekend after my weekend. LOL I never seem to get anything done and then it's back to the box. Although, I did manage a pretty nifty score at Goodwill, so I guess I got one thing done. And for reasons that I am unable to comprehend, my husband and son decided to bag the Scout camping trip. W. T. H. I spent months making sure all the forms were in order, making sure he had all the required gear, attending parent briefing meetings, writing checks, and they were all like "Oh, we decided not to go". Huh. And then my husband had the nerve to get all pissy with me when I asked him if he was going to get a refund. We are not made of money, so the fact that they just didn't go is making me insane. I'm getting all worked up again just thinking about it. Maybe I'll rage shop at lunch to make me feel better. LMAO
So, how was your weekend? JB and Grim, no need to answer. LOL I know you guys had the best weekend. Totes jealous.
QOTD! Are you someone who is typically early, late or right on time? As much as I'm trying to improve, I am chronically late. Even arriving at work, I am consistently like 30 seconds from punching in late. For serious; we need to clock in by 7 1/2 minutes after our shift start, and I'm always like at 7 minutes and 15 seconds. LMAO I'm trying to get better, but I think at this point in my life I just need to accept it. My new motto:
Time since surgery: 23+ months
B: coffee, Light and Fit Greek caramel apple pie yogurt. The container says "new" on it, but it's not, right? I feel like this was an obsesh last fall...
S: salami and provolone rollup
L: slice of honey 7 grain toast topped with a Laughing Cow wedge and roasted turkey breast. And a string cheese. I'm pretty psyched for this, if I'm being honest. I might just have it for breakfast. LOL
D: Morningstar Farms spicy black bean burger, sharp cheddar, over easy egg and 2 slices of turkey bacon
TOTALS: Cals: 900 Protein: 77 Carbs: 41 Fat: 44
I'm good with the carbs number, but methinks the protein could be higher....
QOTD: I am on time to fashionably late. Never terribly late. My ex-husband and his family were early people and it drove me crazy....
Ready to face the week!
B: Coffee latte with miralx...added some protein powder and got lumps-ugh. ruined my morning coffee
B2: eggs and cheese
S: kirkland protein bar
L: ? will be out so not sure, bring some jerky in case
S: ham and cheese melt
D: steak with mushrooms and onions
S: ?? need to stop the pB on a spoon...becoming too much of a 'thing' and how many spoons and what size spoon?

My ex husband was always early too! I used to tell him 30 minutes later than the actual time for parties so we weren't always getting there 15 minutes before it started (and ALWAYS the first couple...)

Ha, that's me. I try to be on time, but I seem to slip into worm holes that speed me up and make me 30 minutes early for everything. It's really annoying.

You look awesome Cynthia!! I love your shirt!
Oh my I think I would have cried if 1. my cup of coffee 2. with miralax 3. got ruined. That would pretty much set me off in a bad mood "get outa my way" kind of thing!
one of my favourite meals is cooked mushrooms. I LOVE mushrooms and always forget to buy them so your dinner sounds divine!
