Good Morning! Looking forward to heading out to church in a bit and getting ready for the coming week. Glad you have had fun on your getaway.
QOTD: My body temperature has definitely changed since surgery but I'm not as cold as I was a few months after. I am still not a summer person and do not like our 110 degree days but it doesn't make me as crabby as it used to.
Today's menu will be my latte and shake for breakfast, albacore salad for lunch, I am thinking a grilled burger for dinner (no bun) and normal afternoon snacks.
Hope everyone has a nice day.
Hi RNY Crew!
first chance I've had to kick back and catch up. I went for a run first this this morning and then went into work for a few hours. Came home, ate lunch and showered. Kids are doing their own laundry-- I can get used to that!
my tummy is currently acting out as I ate a few more pieces of fried plantain than I can tolerate. Rumble, bubble is my current tummy situation.
QOTD: in the winter I was exceptionally cold- but now that it's summer I'm comfortable most of the time. The heat used to get me all sweaty and uncomfortable, now I barely notice it till I see someone else sweating.
Time since surgery: 14+months
m1: 1/2c egg beaters 2oz ham
m2: 4oz roast chicken, salad, 5 pieces fried plantain
m3: pork chops, likely with salad
m4: cashews, cheese stick

9+ years out...cold all the time. It is a little better now...I regained some weight I'm about 215-217. You don't see skinny polar bears for a reason...The fat helps with the insulation. My wife is willing to keep the air conditioning at 78...So our electric bills aren't bad in the summer. But in the winter I have electric blankets on two beds and electric heaters in 3 rooms to help with some of this stuff.
True story...About 7 years ago I was working as a security guard on a summer day. It was 102 in the shade (blacktop) and I was cold. Yes, 102 and I was cold. Again, it's gotten better over the years...But it takes awhile to get use to. Always have the extra layers with you...Example hoodie wrapped around your waist or in the car/work. Brian
Late post yet again from me!
Today I made DH breakfast, him eggs/cheese and bacon biscuits. My no oat meal and 2 egg whites.
i had to run out for a jewelry purchase (Lady was selling a crap ton of new lia sophia jewelry so I bought it all) like 75 pieces I need to sell- lol
Then i worked on the camper and roasted a chicken in the instapot for dinner
i did eat 2 mini reese candies. it was 25 calories and I did log it....
QOTD: freezing all the time!!!!! have a heater in my office and I live north of HOT LANTA!!!
