Purchased Clothes
This is the first time I have posted in this group. I have been an avid reader and silent cheerleader since my surgery in March. Today I had to go into a store and purchase clothes for a very sad reason (my mom passed away). But the reason for my post is to say that for the first time in many, many, many years I was able to go into a store and purchase an outfit off the rack. Generally I would not spend so much money on myself but when I stepped out of the dressing room and my 20 year old daughter (who was very close to my mom) burst into tears and told me how beautiful I looked and how proud of me my mom would be I knew I had to splurge on this outfit just for her.
That is all just felt the need to share and say thank you all for keeping me accountable, entertained, and full of different foods ideas to eat.
Sorry about your Mom, but what a great Non Scale Victory, and a great tribute to your hard work...

Sorry for your loss. I absolutely can relate....as I lost both my parents barely 2 months of each other. My father passed 12/22/14, and my mother 2/24/15. Absolutely shattered my very existence. I so understand your pain. I also had my surgery in March. Best thing I have ever done for myself.
I also went and purchased some clothes...love that I can buy soooo much smaller...and ALL stores carry XL.
Hugs!
