You must be in quite a bit of pain to consider taking something you know isn't allowed. I have spoken with a WLSer with an ulcer history and the facial expressions alone spoke volumes how bad an ulcer must be. Then again, you can attest shoulder pain is no picnic, either, right? Center for Pain Management clinics seem to be popping up all over wondering if they have methods to help you find relief. Please exhaust all other avenues before taking a prescription-strength anti-inflammatory if given a green light to do so.
You are welcome. I have since asked my DH about his past shoulder pain; non-drug efforts that he commented helped was rotating cold and hot application, keeping his arm in a sling, and professional physical therapy. Funny story: my 91 year-old mother complained about shoulder pain after taking a fall. Visiting her one day, I asked, "does your shoulder still hurt, Mom?" She replied, "nope, only when I move it."
Lol! I have to see my shoulder surgeon on Tuesday, just a follow up, I go to p/t 3 times a week was feeling better, and reinjured the shoulder taking my dog for a walk very stupid on my part, my dog like to chase people on bicycles......hope your mom is feeling better! Enjoy the last of this weekend!
