Poison Ivy
Ugh - I pulled a few weeds on Monday and now have poison ivy on my hands, neck and face. Normally it's just an inconvenience, but I'm concerned because my cheek right below my eye & my eyelid are affected (swollen, red, itch). When I look down, all I see is cheek out of my left eye. I plan to give it until tomorrow to see if it gets any worse and I need to go to the doctor. If I do go to my PC, do you know if it is ok to take an oral corticosteriod after RNY? I'm guessing that is probably what would be prescribed. I'm 4 1/2 weeks post-op. Thanks for your advice.

it is not going to get better in one day. It takes weeks for poison in to heal on its own and you DO NOT want it in your eye! I would get in somewhere even urgent care now.
