The list of simple things I can't do is quite lengthy:read a map, give good driving directions, open our safes and sometimes even unlock my front door. Luckily we live in a small town and rarely lock it on a daily basis, but when we come back from a trip and it's locked I never ever can get it open. Yeah,I'm pretty much a goofball! Gloomy looking day here today but Lily and I got our 3.2 miles in at the park already. I make walk another mile or so after supper if it's not raining. I've been bored with the bike lately so haven't been riding it but weight is staying nice and stsble. Today's weight is 118.6. Bottom end of my happy place of 118 to 123! Here's the food plan for the day B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L pouch of lemon pepper tuna 1/2 c cauliflower D 31/2 oz grilled salmon 1/2 c broccoli S mission 1 chocolate chip cookie protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make wise choices!
Yay for happy places! I am still working on this one, and getting up the courage to be like you when I grow up and post my weight everyday...

I agree, KarenP has a lot of guts for being so open and honest with us and herself and posting her daily weight. The fat girl that lives in my brain says there is no way in hell I am posting my weight like Karen does. I admire & respect that she has the confidence to do that.
And good on you Cynthia if you go that route, I need to think about it some more, I don't think I am there yet myself...

Good morning everyone,
AV, I'm glad things resolved themselves. Isn't it weird how we can still get excited about the thought of a baby, even though in my case I'm too dang old? The maternal thing is weird. At this point, I am just looking forward to grandchildren in a few years (hopefully not sooner, lol).
I'm awake early for another morning. Up at 4:20 this morning for no damn reason. I keep telling my body it's summer and I can sleep in, but no dice. So in the spirit of making lemonade, I'm off to an early tai chi class. I've never tried tai chi, but it's low impact and that's what I'm all about these days. I'll fill y'all in later on how it goes.
My food is a little up in the air because I'm going to lunch with a friend and I'm not positive where we're going, but hopefully I can have the salad I'm planning on.
B coffee with cream, protein shake
L salad with shrimp, chicken and avocado
D chicken salad with mayo and pickle
S Greek yogurt, plum or blueberries
Calories 802 Carbs 35 Protein 110
Woo hoo! That's my highest protein number post op.
Edited to add Qotd: this is so stupid but here it is. My maiden name was Kennedy and I always stumbled over my name. Amy Kennedy, how hard was that? I don't have speech problems but for some reason was cursed in saying my maiden name.
