amazon or ebay have the little tens units for  close to nothing...

but most CVS- walmart - walgreens carry some also...

and with pain - ice and heat.. finishing with ice... heat will bring the blood into the area and .. if there is swelling - it can get worse... use ice 20 min on ..20 min off...(I tore my ligament - and learned the hard way what not to do.. and to apply heat only if it is between icing sessions...)

Knee pain is no fun.  I have arthritis in mine, muscle relaxers don't really help much, the only thing that ever really works is Advil of course, so I pretty much deal with knee pain constantly, though the degree varies, some days it's not too bad at all.  Hope you are feeling better soon.

Good luck at your doctor's appointment today, Kristen!

QOTD:  My town, Kearney, Nebraska, is located exactly 1,733 miles from either coast, so seeing seagulls here is an anomaly.  However, once a year a flock of seagulls lands in the tiny lake (pond) in the center of our town on their way to somewhere else.  They come every year and I love seeing them.

What I ate yesterday was:  a protein drink, a Clif protein bar, potato salad, Mr. Cheese O's, Weigh****cher's meal and a Power protein bar.  Today will probably be similar.

Have an awesome day everyone!

A Flock of Seagulls.  Ha!  When you see them show up once a year, do you run ( so far away)?

Good morning! QOTD: The seagulls are gathering for an ongoing Hitch**** film festival. "The Birds" plays continuously on a video loop.

More heat warnings here today, and after foolishly working in the garden for several hours yesterday afternoon, I plan to spend all of today inside. Once again, hooray for portable air conditioners!

B: ham

L: chicken

D: roast beef

S: strawberries, chicken, and maybe sf jello

Edited for typos.

I never see seagulls in my neck of the woods in rural central Illinois, but the crows gather here in parking. It's probably that they are looking for food dropped by people or maybe they just love a good deal! Lily and I have our 3.2 miles in for the day. Got the youngest sent back to Atlanta and he made it up for work this morning too. His flight was delayed an hour and a half on the way here due to weather in Tampa and his flight back was delayed 21/2 hours due to rain in Atlanta. Luckily he had a 230 flight so it was only 9 when he got in at home. He said the useless boss didn't kill  any bonsai while he was gone but she also didn't do any weeding so a busy day for him today. Post op 46 months and weight at 119 today. I will do 30 minutes on the bike in a bit. Here's the food plan B 1/2 c  steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L not sure what the menu is at senior meals but will eat meat and a non starchy veggie and leave the rest D 31/2 oz ground beef with salsa 1/2 c cauliflower S mission one chocolate brownie protein bar.  Have a great day everyone and make some amazing choices!
