I'm just venting a second because I'm so frustrated. I don't even know why I'm mad because I know that this wls is MY JOURNEY!! I want to be healthy. I want to be well. I do not want to eat crap food that does nothing to fuel my body and is trash. But dang it I'm fighting tooth and nail for every single tenth of a lb. there is not one thing about this surgery that causes weight to simply "fall" off of me. It just ****** me off to see people posting on my Instagram page picture after picture after picture of fried chicken, cupcakes, Mac and cheese I seriously could go on and on and they also show the scale moving down like sand through the hour glass . I don't know why I even care. Like I said everyone has their own journey and only mine is my concern but dang it .. It's frustrating to get up every morning thinking just maybe the scale will move in my favor and nothing .... Everyday it's shining back at me 178.6 ..... And I'm doing my 7-800 calories per day, 100 ounces of water, under 5O carbs .... 65-80 grams of protein and these people posting plates of fries and burgers WITH buns and scale pics that just keep moving down. Sorry ... Not trying to have a pity party just frustrated ! Rant over

i feel like that from time to time- like today when everyone was eating huge cinnamon buns from ikea in front of me. 

it isnt easy but it is worth it.

try to never compare yourself and weight loss with others.

I feel your pain sister!!!!  Lol...... we have all had that feeling of rage and despair at the scale.

I hope it makes you feel a bit better to get the anger out at least!!    

I know its hard to stay positive every minute of everyday  BUT

Keep at it.........it will come

They could also be lying. You never really know.

I'd stay away from weight loss posts, or from Instagram all together. I have an account, but I don't follow anyone from the WLS world unless I actually know them in person. ( that's a whole 2 people out of the 15 I follow..LOL )

I'm sorry you're frustrated. I wish I had words of wisdom for you, but all I can offer is a heartfelt "Those people suck!"

I too feel your pain. I'm exactly one month behind you and that blasted scale hasn't moved in 2 1/2 weeks. I'm still on puréed and getting about 500 calories, 60-70 protein, under 40 carbs and 70+ oz. water.  This is really teaching me patience and preserve fence!

I had a big plateau a couple of weeks ago myself, and I feel your pain! I didn't see any mention of exercise in your post, but you just may not have mentioned it. I can tell you that for me, the exercise makes a huge difference. I rarely see scale movement if I did not exercise the day before!? Keep on keeping on! This is a journey we are all on together!

Hang in there, sweetie! I'm sorry that the scale isn't cooperating!

Are you measuring yourself? I've heard enough about this to know I should take my measurements, but I haven't yet, and one of these days I'm going to wish I had to see if that makes a difference.

Those folks posting pictures of burgers with the buns and all the other crap will eventually stop losing and start gaining... it's not the right way to go, and you know that! Unfollow those fools! (LOL)
