butt. Goodness I'm in some serious pain-- I have a ****yx cushion, but that was no match for 10 hours in the car over the holiday weekend. Ive complained so much about it my husband is ready to make a doctors appointment for me to get it checked out-- but I don't think there is anything they can do. I know it's a common problem post op- anyone find relief doing anything in particular?

To add insult to injury- today my neck to down inbetween my shoulder blades are aching. Literlly feels like a pinched nerve (I've never had one, just how I imagine it would feel based on the term). I'm on a heating pad at the moment hoping a muscle will loosen up or something.

Early out I had pain, too, but for the most part it went away. I'm not sure why. I hope it gets better for you, too.

Lady Lithia used to post about her tailbone issues. She had hers removed, but I seem to remember her pain seemed to be even worse afterwards.

10 hours would wreck me any day of the week. I'm not the road warrior I once was.

My tail bone hurt for about 18 months and then it just fell away.

I was sitting in a lawn chair last nigh****ching fireworks,  and everytime I tried to stand up it was excruciating.  But when sitting it was okay. It was only painful when the pressure was taken off my tailbone.

I feel your pain, literally.

I used to have terrible pain, and when it started I still had plenty of padding... It really for the most part has gone away. I think over time you must learn to sit different or something to compensate....

You need a better butt pillow or different car.  Lol...

Plus as our body is changing - our spine and bones are shifting and go in and out of alignment.

Chiropractor can really help.  Plus good stretching exercises like yoga.  Or Pilates...

Squads to increase the muscles in the butt. .But 10 hrs sitting in a car - could really mess a person up.

I use tens units to help my circulation.
