What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?

Good Morning Everyone!

I had a nice time at our family potluck and fireworks last night.  I was good and ate mostly all protein foods.  

QOTD:  I LOVED Grim's creative answer!  I agree, I would pick showering everyday and wearing the same clothes, except the underwear part bothered me.  I love his solution - shower wearing the underwear!  GENIUS!

Yesterday I ate:  a Clif protein bar, potato salad, part of a hamburger, a chicken thing rolled in bacon, and a Power protein bar.

Hey kakesie- where are you in Nebraska? I'll be driving across on I 80 in August. Maybe we could meet up?

Wow, that would be AWESOME, Ereiam!  I'm in Kearney, NE, which is right along I-80, smack in the middle of Nebraska.  I would love to meet you!  Just let me know when you'll be coming through.

It looks like we will be in Kearney at about noon on the 6th of August. We're driving to Canada to see my son, so I'll have two teenagers and my mom in tow, but we could still meet up for lunch?

Hi Amy!  Lunch would be great!  I'd love to meet your mom and two teenagers!  There are a number of restaurants close to the interstate that we could meet at.  Any idea what kind of food everyone would like?  There are the fast food places, steak places, Perkins, Chinese buffet, Red Lobster, Mexican, etc.

Ok, I'll talk to my group and see what they would like and get back to you.

Where in Canada? Are you passing or through Toronto?  Hope so!!! We can meet!!!

Yay for the name AMY! My dog's name on her CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) papers is actually "Aimin to Please" so we called her "Amy" 

We are headed to Combermere to see my son. I would love to meet up, but.. my mom's not overly social so I need to talk to her first. She's kind of shy. I should have talked to her before planning with Kakesie, lol, but some things she's better knowing about after the fact. 

My ideal would be to meet kakesie on the way there and meet up with you on the way back. Let me get back to you.

Tell your mom I'm kind of shy and not overly social, either.  I'm probably close to her age.  (I'm 60).  We should get along just fine!
