What's on your Sunday Menu, RNYers?
Your EDIT made me laugh!! So glad my mom (lap-band) is not on OH!!
QOTD: I never went to summer camp. My only camping experience has been weekend girl scout camps as a kid and as a leader. I do not send mine to camp, either. Honestly I love having them around (even during the creepy teenage years) and could not imagine them not being with me for even a week. Thankfully, they feel the same way and love being with me, too.
I got my new Withings BodyCardio scale yesterday. I need to get my bodyfat measured elsewhere to compare. So far I love the scale.
Yesterday I finished my best fitbit week ever. Yay for me!!
I woke up depressed after reading a friend's fb post complaining about how obese she is (she now weighs the same as me) but have shaken it off and will celebrate all I have accomplished since my weight loss surgery. Life is good!!

Good morning everyone! Another day another dollar here at work.
QOTD: I went a week every summer to church camp as well, loved it! My kids just got back from a church camp, they are exhausted. We spent the rest of our summers working on 4-H, in the pool, fishing and running/gardening/etc. I had a good childhood.
B- triple zero yogurt
S- cheesestick
L-? I woke up at 6:25 this morning (forgot to set alarm, which I NEVER do) and had to leave at 6:30. Got ready in 7 minutes, haha. I'm going to have to order something out. It will be protein

S- premier protein shake
Totals-no idea yet, but will keep it under 800
Have a happy Sunday!

Great picture! I love that people are getting to meet one another.
QOTD: I never went to any kind of camp. As a kid, I either played outside a lot, went to friends' houses, or was at our neoghborhood rec center/ pool. Once my friends started driving, we went to the beach. We lived 15 minutes from Padre Island ( Texas ), so we went often. I remember baking myself in Coppertone tanning oil....haha. Sunblock? What the heck is that?? Ohhhh, Glory Days.
I did well on my menu yesterday and stuck to it, except for one thing: I made the red velvet cheesecake brownies I posted about earlier this week. I had a new sweetener I wanted to try. ( it's called Pyure ) I had a small piece last night. The sweetener was perfect; no bitter aftertaste of Stevia, no cooling effect of erithrytol, even though it is a blend of both of those. Of course, since I only had one small piece, it may not have been enough to notice.
Today: 3 + years out...
B: coffe+ its bffs, other half of the protein shake I made yesterday.
L: brownies!! ( kidding! ) Leftover pot roast
S: cheese or yogurt if I feel the need for a snack
D: We may grill hot dogs, so if we do, I'll have a bunless chili cheese dog.
Haven't totaled the numbers yet. I'm sure a brownie will sneak into my numbers somehow.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend, everyone!
Edited to post a picture of the brownies. They really turned out well. Baking with almond flour and sugar substitutes can be trying. Full disclosure-I do add a tablespoon each of cake flour and oat flour into the batter. It gives it just a little bit of a better texture. It adds .5 grams of carbs per brownie. Brownie stats: 147 calories ( high, yes...I know Almond flour is high in calories, but hey...it's low carb ) 4.3 grams carbs, 4.1 gr protein. Not great stats, but I guess not nearly as detrimental as real brownies. These are definitely not an every day thing. ( I made my daughter take half of the batch with her to her friend's house. )

Hi Everyone!
Great picture, Grim, JB and PeachPie! So glad you could all meet up! I wish I wasn't in the middle of nowhere. (Nebraska)
QOTD: I went to camp 2 or 3 summers for a week at a time. It was fun except for the last time when I was stuck with a "mean girl" who picked on me. I called my parents and begged to come home and they came and got me. But the other times were fun.
Yesterday I went out to eat with a friend. I had the soup of the day, which was cheesy bacon & potato. I have no idea how many calories were in it. The rest of the day I stuck to my diet pretty well until evening when my daughter couldn't finish all her piece of cake and I ate the last couple bites for her. Darned cake! I will try to do better today!
Have a great day everyone and a safe time with the fireworks!

Qotd: I may have mentioned that my childhood was strange... My dad was part of this strange semi religious, mostly political cult. I got shipped off to this camp every summer to be indoctrinated. My parents divorced when I was 12 and I only went a couple more times, thank God. It really shaped my outlook as a young adult but I ended up doing my senior thesis in college on this cult and that really helped me break free. Weird, right?
I had a really hard time food wise yesterday. I've been having a T of peanut butter for a snack and I think it's a trigger for me. So no more for me.
B protein shake with blueberries
L turkey meatloaf
D pure protein bar (I'm going to a party where there will be no food for me.)

Great pic and nice meet up... Bagels...yummm
Here is my contribution (as close as I'll get) to BoHo chic from yesterday's discussion. Denim Skirt and peasanty top. Lots of denim skirts in stores, a trend resurging I can get behind. I see a lot of skorts though. ??? No. Oh and finally figured out how to use timer on camera on phone so I don't have to take terrible selfies sticking my arm out...LOL.
Camp??? The one and only time I went to camp was after 7th grade and I got shipped off to fat Camp- 1970. The only plus of the whole thing was I got to play tennis everyday. We had to do exercises with weights strapped to out ankles. hahahahaha. Is that child abuse? Drink diet bug juice. Lost like 30 something pounds. Which made me about 10lbs more than I am now. I had no idea as a kid being tall how much I should weigh.... yes I was overweight, but not nearly as overweight as I thought. In 8th grade I was 5'9" tall and my friends weighed 105... I had no idea. They taught us nothing about keeping it off, so I promptly gained it all back.
Weight holding steady at high end of 'happy place' so why am I not happy? If I was really bold I'd start posting my weight everyday like Karen... not that bold.

Those damn bagels are staring me down. I was hoping they'd eat them for breakfast today... Nope.
I will not eat them. If I were home I would have tossed them... Hell if I was home I wouldn't have been foolish enough to buy them.
You pic is Reminding me why I will not eat the bagels.

I will take that as a compliment...
Being in NY and bagels are a 'thing' I have released myself to have it once a month when we do food after church. Even when I was losing weight. I don't always have it... but I figure it keeps me from indulging other times, because I know it is coming...if that makes sense. LOL. I ate a half of a half with cream cheese, 2 turkey teriyaki meatballs (I made), about 2 TBSP chicken salad, and about the same of a pasta salad- a bite. I was full... I did later go back and eat another small piece of Bagel... My long time neighbor and friend is standing there and he goes "Are you allowed to eat that" What? Hahaha keep your eyes off my food. One of my nightmares when I was heavy is people watching what you eat.... I guess still happens.
