What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?

Dang stalls! So frustrating. If I look at the big picture I've lost nearly 35 pounds in 7 weeks which is 5 pounds a week, so not too bad. It looks like you're two weeks ahead of me and have lost on about the same average. So that's good.

The joint thing is incredibly frustrating. I joined a gym yesterday and I can do the elliptical and recumbent bike for cardio. I'm really going to focus on the strength training though to strengthen my knees and hips. Here's hoping, and praying.

I am jelly of all your weekend plans. I am working OT at the hospital the next 3 days. But that's fine, one step closer to Hawaii in December!

QOTD: I honestly liked scrunchies. I wouldn't mind those coming back, they were gentler on my hair than just hair ties.

B- cheese stick, irish tea w/SF creamer

S- triple zero yogurt

L- diced chicken, cojita, avocado, greek yogurt, salsa

S- premier protein shake

D-? Going to a potluck, hopefully some meat

Totals- they are good, my cell is turned off because I don't have service here.

Have a great day!

Good morning, everybody! I'm so happy for the long weekend, the bosses kicked everyone out of the office building at noon yesterday, too. We were like a bunch of kids running out the door. My weekend plans are pretty low key, although I should be packing, next weekend for sure. Today I am taking the ex boyfriend's grandmother to buy some shoes and out to lunch, she truly has no one else to ask so she called me.  Also, I have to go to Costco this afternoon, which I'm sure will be a madhouse.

JB, I went clothes shopping a couple of weeks ago (I'm at the cusp of regular/fat sizes, the beloved size 18) and EVERYTHING was either that boho/peasant/drawstring/tent shirts (which I'm trying to get away from) or sleeveless. I AM NOT comfortable with exposed arms and my dangling, flappy chicken cutlets showing.  So, the search continues. I'm hoping things change when I can leave the clothing department called "Women's World".

B: I had some mozzarella

L: Grandma wants Cheesecake Factory, I'll be good. Hello Skinnylicious menu!

D: Lunch leftovers, I'm sure.

Actually my favorite thing to order at Cheesecake factory is the appetizer- The Thai Lettuce Wraps. Don't let the calorie count scare you away. That count would only be if you ate all the sauces and they give you three. It is basically chicken and veggies, wrap them up like little lettuce tacos...delicious and use the sauce sparingly. Oh and not spicy...

Ok ... So.... You can get those pens at hobby lobby, well they are silver paint pens but still similar. I'm Alison an 80's child so parachute pants and high top rebox shoes, z. Cavarricci pants ( maybe that was the 90's but awe the memories of the all night skating rinks and crimped hair....

breakfast : salmon, cottage cheese, cantaloupe 1 cube

lunch : SAME

dinner: Unknown, I have received Olive Garden gift cards for my bday and the only thing I can find online that I could eat is meat from the top of deliciously sauced up noodles and I just can't take the pressure, I'm considering trading them online for another restaurant that has Delish meat!

My husband and I are headed to pigeon forge on Monday to watch the big fireworks . There will be shopping! I'm excited about that, although I have to many clothes already that are waiting for me to get down maybe 10 more lbs... I may just stick to new shoes.

Yay for long weekends!  Diana Ross was amazing.  She looked fantastic, and sounded even better. If that's what 72 looks like, bring it on!

Today is day 2 of moving wine. I have lots of help today, so it should go relatively quickly.  I have a friend staying with me tonight, lunch with an x-boyfriend today (!),  and dinner with friends tonight.  Whew! I should probably get out of bed and get my day started.

QOTD: I love the fashions that came out of London in the 60s. The short swing dresses, boots, jaunty hats, etc.  Bits of it come back every now and then.  One thing that I love that came back in recently is ponchos. I love them and hope they never go out of style.

Today's menu is up in the air with 2 meals out. Had my standby omelette for breakfast, but the rest is an unknown.  These kind of days are the ones that always test my new eating habits.  Structured is easy.  Unstructured is hard.  Yesterday we ate at the concert venue at the restaurant. I had a burger with bacon, hold the bun and the condiments. Success!  Cajun tater tots on the side. Fail! I am a work in progress.

Have a great day everyone.
