What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
Yes I seem to be eating protein bars way more frequently and protein shakes much less as my 'convenience' foods. There is also this healthy food place here called Pro-portion and they have that "Only 8" frozen yogurt that is only 8 calories an ounce...but then toppings and you know lots of ounces can slide right in. That has been happening way too frequently.

Here's the eats B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added LP3 packet D ground beef patty with cheese S mission 1 cookies and cream protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some good choices!
Morning JB!
I'm glad the weekend is here. I need a break. I should end the week with 110,000 steps or so. I just looked at the Fitbit dashboard, and in another 2 weeks I'll pass the 13 million step mark. I wish I had a nickel for every step . . .
I'm waiting for my sweetie to get here! We're walking to the fair today, and hopefully will meet Shauna later! And a ballgame in Lowell tomorrow night. Weather has been perfect.

Grim, I'm super jealous of your 110,000 steps. I'm trying to exercise but I can't walk because my dang knees and hips hurt too much. I tried water aerobics and even that amount of impact hurts my joints. So what to do? I talked to a personal trainer friend and she recommended that I join the gym just to do the weights to strengthen the muscles around my knees and hips. I'm leaning in that direction.

Hi everyone,
I'm in a stall and am frustrated. I'm almost seven weeks out and I stalled at two weeks and now the scale hasn't moved in a week again. Hmmph. Nothing I can do but wait it out.
I'm with NYmom. Stirrup pants were the worst. I may have rocked some 80s looks when I was 16, but would just look silly now.
I am on my way to pick up my co-op basket. I ordered tons of fruit this time. My three teenagers requested more fruits and vegetables and less chips and cookies. I don't even go to those aisles anymore. You go, girls!
I can't even think about my menu right now. Too grouchy about my stall. I will plan and log later.

When I was a kid I was totally oblivious to fashion trends - couldn't have told you one to save my life! I do remember wearing stirrup pants when I was 12 though...I liked them lol I like the variety of fashion now - you can follow or create any trend you like.
B - Clementine and a piece of aged cheese
Sn - Milk
L - 1 Taco with cheese, ground beef, salsa, sour cream and lettuce
Sn - Cupcake, I'm really looking forward to this treat!
D - Chicken thigh and veggies
Ex - 45 minute walk
I know your frustration. I had a stall at 3 weeks that lasted for 3 weeks and now the scale is moving soooo slow....like 1 lb. a week if that! I have really bad knees and feet so if I walk long distances, I won't be walking period; so, I purchased an AeroPilates machine with a rebounder for my cardio and I love it. Much easier on my very bad joints! (Scale is still not cooperating though!) I still hope that at some point I can do other cardio exercises like bike riding and hiking...all in time I pray.
