What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
I say run back to Oregon, but then I am impulsive and not very practical. Either way, we (I am speaking for the general population of Oregon) will welcome you back when you decide it is the time to make the move. In case this helps you make up your mind, it is forecasted to be 78 degrees and sunny in Portland today. I'm just sayin'....

Believe it, the impulsive, impatient nut in me, that's EXACTLY what she wants to do. BUT, if I wait until January, I can be much more relaxed about it, I won't have to rush and find a job, and it's the much smarter way for me to handle everything. Once I get back, let's please have a Portland meet up, so I can thank you for reminding me what and why I love Oregon so much. My goal is to take my job with me, but that may not be possible, either way, I'm not too terribly worried about finding work, and I just want to go home.

Hello everyone! We made it to Thursday! No big plans for the long weekend for us as well, (we had plans but they just cancelled) so it will be lots of relaxing and time on my patio in my back yard.
I didn't think the word exercise was allowed to pass your lips Kristen LOL LOL
Taco Bell for me pre surgery was like a second home, I loved that place. I have not and will not step foot in one now because its too much of a trigger food for me.
QOTD: Deviled eggs are my go to to bring to a party. I also love a good salad that has lots of goodies so I make one that has spinach, strawberries, candied walnuts, feta cheese, grilled chicken with balsamic dressing. And I tend to always have an apple pie handy, there is a small home town store a few minutes from our house that has every kind of pie known to man and they are amazing! They are know for their apple pies so I either bring one if I am a guest or I have a few it the freezer when I have company over.
GOOD NEWS Gang! As Grim told me yesterday not to wait on getting an Iron Infusion I talked to my boss who put me in touch with a nurse friend who is going to do the Iron Infusion for me starting next week, got one of my Surgeon friends to sign off on the order and I am good to go. Its a series of 3 treatments separated by 2 weeks each. I am thrilled as I know it needs to be done! So will keep you all posted on how it goes next week, I am a bit nervous but hey it needs to be done!

I'm so glad you are getting the infusions! You might feel crappy for a day or two after, but you will feel fantastic after that.
I have never eaten anything from Taco Bell.

thanks for pushing me to get the Iron Infusion, I probably would have put it off for a few months and lord only knows how bad my health would be then.
Your advice is invaluable here Grim, what would we do with out you! THANK YOU!!!!!!!
And ya you are totally not a Taco Bell guy, Wendy's yes, but not TB. Oh and I am expecting to see you wearing the Wendy's red pig tails when we meet in a few weeks, just sayin'
