What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Morning!! You hubby being confused about the day reminds me of a story I heard on the new this AM. This guy had taken a 1/2 of ambien and woke up thinking he was in plane crash so he called 911. Ambien must be some powerful stuff LOL. Go get your exercise on!!
QOTD- My go to cookout sides are macaroni salad or coleslsw. Of course I prefer the macaroni saled, and i have an awesome recipe-- but its best when prepared a day ahead of time, but I never have it that together LOL. Plus it requires lots of dicing/chopping- which I hate. Since its not WLS friendly I turn to coleslaw alow. And that SUPER easy-- I buy the shredded slaw and Marie's coleslaw dressing- mix it together and let it sit for an hour. People RAVE over "my" coleslaw LOL. My hubby's specialty is ribs.

Good morning everyone,
I also like it when I have no plans for the weekend. Catching up on everything sounds great. My weekend is not super busy. On Sunday, my next oldest sister turns 50 and her husband is throwing her a party, so off to Denver we go. I got her (she can buy anything her heart desires) this coolest plaque from Goodwill that has the ABCs of growing old. Here's the plaque:
You guys, I planned my food in the morning yesterday and stuck to it! It was SO much easier! It took grazing and my appetite whims out of the picture. Yay! Here's my food for today:
Breakfast coffee with cream, Body Fortress protein shake
Lunch 4 oz carnitas
Dinner 3 oz ground beef with shredded cheddar and salsa
Snack Chobani 100 yogurt, T of peanut butter
Calories 861 Carbs 22 Protein 89
Almost forgot the Qotd. My cookout/summer party fave is potato salad made with cauliflower. It's WLS friendly and when I was doing paleo I ate it all the time. Yum!
