What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?

My boss is a wine collector too, and he has the most interesting wine storage.  He turned the shower in the spare bathroom on his main floor into wine storage.  Lined it with racks, put in temperature control and now it is a show piece.  The wine storage in my basement is temporary.  I am just starting a basement remodel, and I need to add permanent wine storage.  I had initially thought about a separate room, but am leaning toward a couple of floor to ceiling wine refrigerators and racks as part of the family room.  Sort of like a giant art installation.  I have a designer coming over on Sunday, so I am hoping she has ideas too.

I am so looking forward to seeing Diana Ross.  She is an icon and so amazing.

I would love to see what you end up doing for wine storage. I've been saving lots of ideas on Pinterest. We have a couple of places we could add a room, but not sure if the expense is worth it.  The other option  is upstairs in our bonus room, but we rarely go upstairs (it's the only room up there.)  Have fun at the concert.

This is totally random Menu Gang but what do you all think of the last weekend of August, Saturday the 27th we should have a Lunch Date OH meet up.  If we can figure out where is somewhat central to most of us then we can organize something.  For example Syracuse NY is a four hour drive for me, that would be doable for me.

I am just throwing it out there and details can be sorted out later, but I think we should have a meet up, I would love to spend the afternoon with all of you.  Something that we can drive to, meet for lunch, hang out and then drive home.   And then I can sneak in some cross boarder shopping too, HELLO TARGET, its a win win! LOL

Oh my God. Juniper and I were just talking about this last night. Syracuse is just about exactly halfway between Boston and Toronto, so it would be perfect. And the weekend of August 27th, the AAA Pawtucket Red Sox are in Syracuse, playing the Chiefs.
