Good morning,

AV, I hope you feel better quick. That's how I feel when I've eaten something that didn't agree with me. Hot and cold and queasy. Take care of yourself.

I'm feeling down today. I don't want to cross post and I posted about this on the forum, so I'll give you guys the short version. Monday and Tuesday, I really struggled with staying on my plan. I ate half a carnitas burrito last night, tortilla and all. And I wanted everyone else's food too. My nut's plan says that as of Monday I could try anything, and I took that to mean everything. Big sigh. I think I'm coming up on shark week (don't know since I had a hyster 10 years ago), and that could account for the increased hunger. Dang.

So ok: I'm going to plan my food today and stick to it. I've been playing loosey-goosey with my food since I'm home most of the day in summer and can tweak it as I feel like it. Seems dangerous. Here's today's plan:

B: Protein shake with almond milk

L: 3 oz. ground beef, cheese, salsa

D; 3 oz. shrimp with pesto

S: Greek yogurt, T of peanut butter

Calories 769    Carbs 23   Protein  85

Qotd: It's actually a drink. I discovered a sugar free drink called True Lemon. It's flavored with Stevia and says it has real lemon juice (how can this be with a powder??). But it's really tart and just barely sweet. It's a perfect summer drink.

We are learning something new everyday. I know it wasn't a good idea doing what you did. But you addressed it. So you know it can be a problem.

Eat something, drink something and hopefully you will feel better.

QOTD;  No new finds lately, eating the same old things every day.  Boring!  I don't have a spiralizer, just a Vegetti, I also do sauteed zoodles quite a bit, I have used it for carrots as well.

B:   1 egg, 1 slice deli turkey

S:   Premier Protien w/iced coffee

L:  Tuna w/ Mary's gone crackers

S:  Cabot Cheddar Stick

D?  Whatever hubby makes tonight, probably chicken.

Good Morning! I wonder if you are starting to get sick and it's your body's way of letting you know? I hope you feel like your normal self soon. I had my monthly support group last night and it was a heavy session as there are a few members going through some very stressful situations and I am still thinking about them this morning. The reason I bring this up this morning as sitting in the room last night and watching/listening to the support the group provides it reminded me of us here in this group too. It's awesome to have places to "be" with people who "get" the struggles and offer support. So in a nut-shell THANK YOU TO EACH OF YOU-I APPRECIATE YOU ALL!!

QOTD: Probably most recently is still the intro to pork rinds (can't thank you enough Kristen) oh and the cilantro avocado dressing (also thanks to Kristen-do I see a pattern here?LOL)

Time since surgery: 22 months

B: SF latte, egg beaters with shredded cheese, 1 slice of bacon and some blueberries

L: Bananas and cream protein shake with powdered PB2 with chocolate

S: SF latte, Boston cream pie L&F Greek yogurt, pork rinds and turkey jerky sticks

D: Sweet and spicy tuna packet and baby carrots with cilantro avocado dressing, a boiled egg and SF Jello

E: 45 mins stationary stepper this morning and elliptical at lunch

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1178 Protein:141 Carbs:66 Fat:35

Have a great one!
