What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Hi Everyone!
Kristen - I hope you get to feeling better soon!
QOTD: I love Clif Builder's Protein Bars Chocolate Peanut Butter.
What I ate yesterday: Okay...I should've listened to all of you and thrown out the cake! (and dumped salt on it). I confess. I ate a small 2"X2" piece of it! My Fitness Pal said it only had 220 calories so I tried it. I was also curious to see if I would dump. I didn't. I guess I'm not a dumper. I was kind of hoping I would be as a deterrent. The rest of the day was all in keeping with what I usually eat and I counted in the 220 calories so hopefully I didn't do myself TOO much damage. Don't scold me too harshly. You only turn 60 years old once in a lifetime.
I hope everyone has a good day!
~ Karen
I haven't tried cake yet, but I'm hoping I'm a dumper too, I get it. I have a sneaking hunch I won't be since bread and crackers sit quite well (yeah, I admit it, I tried) but I don't want to find out I can eat cake and cookies. It's funny how we pray for illness post op when we eat our favorite foods.
Just want to say I am back to 2 days of exercise including weights and I am dying... what the heck??? While I had been doing some cardio dance (Cize) it's been 8 weeks since anything with weights. Abs and arms killing me!
I looked good yesterday doing it in my new Fabletics outfit that I got Memorial Day weekend. The special was $15...I ended up exchanging the original top because it was too short and upgrading, so this outfit cost me $30. They are repeating it for the 4th weekend. The built-in sports bra is actually really supportive, but did need to go up a size not to squish the girls...hahahah (ignore that Grim)

Unfortunately my referral code won't work for this sale. :(
So I have been trying JB's suggestion of TJ's Cold Brew. Been making iced coffee with it. Discovered yesterday Cashew Milk (25 calories a cup) + cold brew+ sweetener + splash of half and half = pretty damn delicious. Know we aren't supposed to drink our calories but this is a lot less calories than real milk. Also have used it with vanilla premier protein to make iced protein coffee. I guess I could throw it in the blender and make a frappachino too. I used to always just use old cold coffee for my iced coffee, but this is so much better because it is concentrated. Just picked up some cold brew at Sam's Club, haven't tried it yet.

Very cute, Cynthia. That neckline would drive me crazy, though!! I need straps further out on my shoulders.
