What's On Your Tuesday Menu, RNYers?
Okay, so this cements it, you are my long lost sister! I'm a huge D&D geek, and we used to play regularly until I had the 2 year old. We can't really play now since he is so needy, but my hubby is DM and my oldest plays as well. We also play Magic the Gathering, Munchkin and a myriad of other games that would fall into the nerdy category. I've been playing D&D off and on since I was in my early 20s.
We play a deck builder game by Cryptozoic called "Heros United" EVERY NIGHT! We also own a few other versions (DC Rivals and Forever Evil) and there are some Lord of the Rings themed versions that are very similar. They are sort of like MTG but you don't need to keep buying cards and expansions and they work even when you keep playing over and over with the same two people. I used to play MTG in tournaments in my early 30s. I was a seriously geeky geek back then. Now I am a 'functional geek' and keep it to casual at home. My Guy and I use the card playing as a time to unwind from the day, connect in conversation, and relax. It is our together time.
Highly recommend you guys try this one. Munchkins was just not enough strategy for me to sate my MTG cravings. These types of deck builders are much more interesting.

The more you know! I can hear the music in my head now. LOL
I'm really thankful I have this group and OH because I have been able to restrict my 'food chatter' to here with you all. I have gotten to where I avoid letting the rambling inside my head out with my family and friends. I think about it tons but it is a dull background not a constant center of my daily activities.
PS: Totally the edges of the brownies. That crunch! Nom nom nom

I'm glad I have this site to discuss food with as well. I stopped discussing food with anyone in real life. I watched a lot of people drive friends and family CRAZY with food and surgery talk, and I promised myself I wouldn't do the same thing.
Brownies shouldn't be crunchy. That's why chips were invented.

All I know is you "Middle Brownie" lovers are the best because you leave edges for me! Have all the middles you like.

The problem with you edge people is, you take big chunks of my middle with you. Take the crunchy edge, but leave the chewey parts alone.
