Slow weight loss?
Lost 30 pounds my first month, 25 my second, then stalled for three weeks. I was eating the same diet, drinking my fluids, but the weight stopped coming off. Then I came out of the stall, lost 12 pounds in a week. I think the best thing I figured out was to just stay off the scale and give the surgery time to work.
I know it is frustrating- here I got this major surgery and the weight isn't falling off? But 24 pounds in a month is a lot. Don't be surprised of each month is different. It will be. You can see my stats below- and keep in mind some people lost a lot before they had the surgery also so their monthly numbers are lower than someone that didn't spend 6 months waiting for insurance to let them have it.
I was a slow loser in the beginning. I true slow loser - I didn't keep track of it in an app like I did in month 2.5 and on so I don't have the actual stats but I think I lost like 10 pounds that first month. It was super stressful and I kind of freaked out and I am positive I annoyed people on the boards with my multiple freak outs because I had A LOT of weight to lose.
So I always try to answer these questions. A - you are definitely not a slow loser.
And B - even if you were my answer would be the same - be compliant and work your ass off. I've been compliant every damn step of the way and 15 months later I'm almost at goal. So I feel like if I can do it anyone can if they're compliant as well.

You're welcome and thank you :) It hasn't been easy but I've posted on here along the way and like I said have been compliant and worked at making my changes true changes in every part of my life. I really think anyone can do the same if they try because I was absolutely addicted to food before the surgery and didn't realize it. I've taken the last 15 months to re-learn healthy habits that I hope will last the rest of my life because that's what everyone who has been successful seems to do so I would urge you to do the same.
Good luck!!
