What's on Your Saturday Menu, RNYers?

Hello Everyone! I had such a good week at wor****il the last hour of Friday when everything went crazy! It turns out that a project I delegated out was not done following the letter of the law, and it's a disaster! I feel ultimately responsible and I'm just really annoyed. Yesterday I was upset, but this morning I have downgraded to annoyed. Sleep helps everything gain perspective... Maybe I should go back to bed and keep sleeping until I am pleased ;)
So anyway, I have been up for a few hours already, writing a million emails to try to get it all sorted out. But the rest of my day should get a lot better! I'm going with Grim and a friend up to a touristy town, north of Boston to go to a museum and to walk around and see the sights. Not 100% sure about lunch, but I am proposing the Boston Hot Dog Company!
QOTD: Are you a city mouse or a country mouse? I grew up in the country and always wanted to move to the city, and I did--the second I was independent! I adore the hustle and noise and love to have everything so convenient. I moved to the suburbs a few years ago because it was much more affordable to buy my home, but I hope I will always work in the city so that I have that connection!

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one up before the crack of dawn.
Some man texted me at 5:30 am to tell me that he's interested in buying a 4 wheeler I have for sale and that could be at my house by 8 am . WHAT? I told him he could come around 10 and he informed me he was on his way already and guess what.... He asked me if I would pay him $20 for gas since he had to drive 3 hours each way! Keep in mind we had no previous arrangements of meeting to look at my 4 wheeler . Needless to say I told him off!! However could not go back to sleep . I'm a country mouse.... I used to walk my goats on a leash and bottle feed them. I love farm animals although I only have a dog... Some day when my kids are grown, I fantasize about moving to the city, right in the middle of all the action in a high rise condo that's maintenance free and luxurious !!!! Ahhhhh ok back to reality my scale refuses to budge and we are going on 2.5 weeks so that's really annoying . I'm down 19 lbs in almost 8 weeks so it's really frustrating to see so many with 30 or 40 lb losses . I'm sitting at 179 and I guess my body likes that.

i haven't put in the numbers yet but I may top it with bacon if I have enough calories in my 800 calorie bank .... Just had my coffee and anticipate a crash as soon as my kiddos get out of bed and are ready to play.
Looking forward to Zumba again today, I skipped yesterday to rest my knee but ended up painting a bedroom for my mother in law

Goats are so stinkin cute! If I had a pet goat to walk, I might like country living!

Hi everyone:
It's a beautiful day in Sudbury, MA and I've got a great day ahead. My folks and I are going into Boston to see the musical _Matilda_, based on Roald Dahl's novel. Before that we're going to a great steak restaurant called Mooo, near the state house.
QOTD: It depends on my mood if I like the city or country. I'd say 60% city; I work in Boston daily and I enjoy the energy, if not the traffic. I like suburbs and rural, but not too rural; I do like modern conveniences :)
Almost 3 months since surgery.
B: No idea, drinking coffee right now
L: Probably steak
D: Birthday cupcake. Don't judge.
Cheers,
cheremiste

Have fun at the show. I've heard it's great!
I won't judge your cupcake--you can be in charge of your own choices...but I am worried about you getting in enough protein! I would consider adding in some small high protein snacks and breakfast to your day, to get your totals where they should be, even if it means your calories are high from the cupcake.
Your body needs additional protein during the period of rapid weight loss to maintain your muscle mass. Protein is also required for metabolism to occur. If you don't provide enough protein in your diet, the body will take its protein from your muscles.
Happy belated birthday!

Happy birthday. Mines coming in a few days and I'm terrified to dump so I'm gonna try out a low carb cheese cake recipe. I had half a banana the other day for my sweet tooth craving and my heart started racing and I felt week so, I can't imagine what my body would do if I ate a cupcake. But cupcakes and birthday cake used to be my weakest weakness .
Enjoy the steak yummmmmm!!!!

I sometimes mix in fat free cheesecake flavored pudding mix into Greek Yogurt, then add in a few strawberries. It's not an exact match to real cheesecake but it's a pretty good substitute!

Oh ... That's a great idea and a whole lot easier than the cheesecake recipe I've been looking at . Thanks JB
