Hunger?
For the last few days I have been feeling constantly physically hungry. Like that growly feeling when your stomach is empty. I haven't had much of an appetite but I fed it a Greek yogurt this morning and it did nothing to quell the growling.
It doesn't feel painful like acid, and I'm still taking Prilosec, so what the heck?

When I'm truly hungry, I have to do dense protein ... I do get very physically hungry, I think that's normal but idk.

Your new stomach will make a lot of noise. I am 6 years out and it still makes noise. Don't confuse that noise with hunger it's not. Your intestines have been majorly change and they are bound to rebel a little. My stomach actually gets noisier AFTER I feed it.
Your stomach is healing and you may have a little pain. If it is really bad, please call your surgeon. You don't want an ulcer to develop.
I had pain for awhile and the surgeon explained that sometimes the motility in the intestines takes awhile to come back after surgery. The food is not being pushed through fast enough and that food backlog can cause pain. He told me to go back to liquids for a few days and then try more solid foods later in the week to see if it improved.
