What's on your (Photo) Friday Menu, RNYers?
I am getting so frustrated. The scale says I am up 3.5 pounds when there has been no foods passing my lips that shouldn't. Earlier this week I ate 2 donuts but that doesn't equal 9,000 calories!!! I have also been hitting at least 16k steps a day. Not sure what gives but it is disheartening. I am definitely a numbers person and it scores me I will never be able to move into maintenance.

Posting late for me as I was up doing laundry. My youngest son is coming back from Atlanta tomorrow for 10 days and Sunday morning we are going to a cowboy shoot and then to a nearby state park where we will stay til Tuesday afternoon. So I'll be MIA til Wednesday but I'm sure I'll be doing tons of hiking with Lily so she can see the sights and smell new smells. Lily and I got our 3.2 miles in early at 530 this morning and I will do 30 minutes on the bike later. Post op about 46 months and weight at 118.4 today. QOTD my favorite protein changes but top ones are shrimp, fish and ribeye. Glad to hear your MIL is okay and feeling better. Here's the food plan today B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese 1/2 c green beans D 31/2 oz chicken straps grilled with 1/2 c mixed greens and blue cheese dressing. Still not feeling like eating hot food as you can tell. S Pure Protein chocolate peanut butter protein bar. Picture is one hubby took last Saturday at the cowboy shoot of me in old time western wear. Have a great day and weekend everyone anD make some amazing choices!
It's fun. We go every weekend somewhere. I keep score for the shooters now. They shoot revolvers, rifles and shotguns at metal targets. One of the women shooters is quitting and she was tiny. She gave all her outfits away so Wednesday night the women had a fashion night. Because she was small there were only 2 of us who could actually wear her fitted clothes. I came home with 8 outfits:4 suitable for shooting and 4 taffeta ones to wear for dressy events. Some she had paid hundreds for and she insisted on no money for them so it was my lucky night! I'll post pictures as I wear them. She also gave me her old gun belt and when the weather gets less hot hubby is going to try to teach me to shoot. It'll probably be the end of next year before I feel comfortable enough to start shooting with them. Before surgery I would never have even contemplated it but now I know if I set my mind to it I can do it. Another lesson from my journey!
