Heading back to NY because I need to have one last breakfast with my grandson. SO sad to leave. :(
Reined in the snacking yesterday, did eat a few carbs - a low carb tortilla for a salmon fish taco (yummy), an apple and a little corn. Yet when reign in the mindless snacking down 3lbs on the scale. Hallelujah. Still higher, but high end of what I think is going to be 'normal' for me.
My Surgeon sent me a power point of my befores and afters from Plastic Surgery.... Scary stuff....I said Thank You and did not say anything negative about myself... I shared them with my girlfriend who came with me as my caretaker on this journey, she's seen it all... She said I look amazing, and when I expressed my negative she said she wished she could reach through the phone and smack me upside the head.... LOL. As I keep saying the head is catching up with the body....
SO what I am bringing on road trip- snacking is mandatory amirite?????
Will not necessarily all be eaten, but it's there:
Premier protein, Vitamin water lemonade water zero, Bai 5, water
Jerky, tuna pouches, hard boiled eggs, celery and Peanut butter
Assorted protein bars
Parmesan crisps, nuts
Tic tacs and chewing gum- they keep me from snacking more
Ex: Running from the car to the bathroom at rest Stops My goal is to make it all the way to NY in one fell swoop, but I am getting a late start...so we will see. Sheetz gas station there house blend coffee took me across the whole state of Pennsylvania (the long way) with one 5 minute bathroom break... so yeah will be searching for that. :)

I'm with you on the head games. I find that I'm spending a lot of brain power wondering what I really look like, these days. I see small people and compare myself. I think they look like a size 2, as well, but I look so much bigger. How can that be? Am I seeing what's really there or not? I really just don't know anymore. I would have hoped that an actual side by side photo display would help!! No?

Good morning everyone,
I don't know what's up with me but ever since surgery I haven't been sleeping well. I wake up really early, like 4 am and then maybe doze for a couple of hours. I am used to being able to sleep like a log so I'm a little frustrated and a lot tired.
Here's a good thing for today: I'm hiring someone to come work on my backyard. The front has been my husband's job and the back mine. Since surgery, 5/16, I've let things go. I went out yesterday and there is no way I have the strength to put in the 4-5 hours that yard needs. So I have a guy coming over soon to work on it. Hubby doesn't know about it. Some things are better for him to know after the fact.
I'm doing well with food these days. Monday starts my 6 week diet which is trying anything, protein first of course. Here's my stats from yesterday:
Calories. 719 Carbs 32 Protein 64
Oh yeah, Qotd: on a good day I put on some powder. Every so often I resolve to wear makeup and buy a bunch and fall off the bandwagon after two days. Funny, cause when I was a teenager, I wouldn't leave the house without loads of makeup!
