What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
Congrats to your "baby" boy!! My Hannah has made honors every quarter ...ever...so far! We will see how next year goes, since she is going into 8th grade AND a new school since we changed school districts when we moved. She is NOT looking forward to switching schools, and officially HATES ME.
I won't be around much started tomorrow through the 4th. We are on vacation and I dont know how cell service will be where we are camping. We will be doing a TON of hiking/walking etc, and I am going to try and keep to my program as much as possible. So hopefully any gains wont be a lot.
QOTD: UUMMMM I don't wear make up, like ever. I think when I got married was the last time, which was 7 years ago. HAHAHAH

Wow, well done Hannah! She'll do great at her new school, too. She's probably just nervous. Change is hard, amirite!?
As for the QOTD, it doesn't have to be makeup. Any new thing you found that rocks... soap, moisturizer, laundry detergent... LOL
Also? Have an awesome time on your trip! No cell service sounds heavenly.
It's kind of amazing to see them grow up. When they're little they want to be like mom or dad, then they go through the teen years where you are the worst parent on earth according to them. Then when they get to be about 22 or so you start to hear about things they are glad you taught them. I'm much better friends with both my boys now that they are 23 and 24.
Oh man, I hope to be friends with my girls someday. Right now I still have 3 kids at home, girls, 18 yo, 16 yo and 14 yo. The drama at my house is unbelievable. My 16 yo's favorite thing to say to me when she's pissed at me is, "A+ parenting, Mom. Good job." I just say thank you, lol.

BE NOT AFRAID JPII
I thank God everyday that I had boys. LOL. when we were doing In Vitro from our youngest, my hubby was really hoping for a girl. I was secretly praying for a boy because honestly, I teenage girl would get slapped often in my house. I have no patience for attitude. My oldest is 16 going on 17 and is relatively mild mannered. He rarely talks back and only occasionally rolls his eyes.
If my kid said that **** to me, they'd be doing all the parenting for themselves. I wouldn't cook them dinner, or do their laundry, or give them rides anywhere. No new clothes, nothing. See how they like being an adult and taking care of themselves.
