Edamame Pasta?
My friend got me a box of edamame pasta and I was wondering what you guys think? It seems to be high in carbohydrates but also high in protein. Would it be okay as a treat every now and again?

Seems like a lot of calories too, but I don't know.
Thanks hive mind!
It actually has 10 grams of net carbs when you subtract the fiber. it seems very high in calories in my opinion .

I have a similar product made with organic mung beans - someone posted it on OH and I got some.
My general rule is gms of prot Times 10 should be more than the total calories (the computational rule for ~half of calories coming from protein). SO, this qualifies.
BUT BUT -- they are quoting for 2 oz portion - 1 ounce is enough - with some shrimp and grated parm. So it would be 5 net carbs per serving which is more reasonable for a WLSer. (The 2 oz portion on the label is more for a 'normal' person.)
Mine does taste a bit unusual so I still have 3/4 of the package left - a few strands (mine is shaped like linguine) is enough.
