Good morning! Feeling like a slow start to my day since I just barely sat down for my coffee but I have been to the gym, started the laundry, a few other house chores so I guess it's all good!

QOTD: I don't run red lights, I cringe when it's going from yellow to red when I'm going through.

Menu today is kind of up in the air since I don't have a clue yet what we plan to do! I am planning a banana protein shake blended with ice and chocolate PB2 for breakfast (and my latte of course) for breakfast and I am guessing lunch will be out and about, so probably grilled chicken. Usual afternoon snacks. For dinner I think I am going to make noodle-less lasagna for this week so if I do it'll be that and a small salad. Totals will be around 1200. Vits and water on track and exercise was my normal 6 miles this morning.

Hope you all have a great day!

Morning everyone. I am having a leisurely start to my day. Lounging in bed, watching Harold and Maude. Forgot how much I love this movie. The soundtrack is spectacular.

I love Orange Is The New Black.  Did they release the new season? If so, I know what I am doing this weekend.

QOTD: I am a rule follower, so no red light running for me.  On the other hand, I've never met a street I didn't jaywalk. Okay, so not a rule follower ALL the time.

Menu is up in the air today. I need to go stare in the freezer and take something out to thaw for tonight.  I had my usual omelette for breakfast, and will have grilled chicken for lunch. I think I have a flank steak in the freezer, so might grill that.  I also have an artichoke in the fridge that needs to be cooked.

BTW JB, I scheduled my first Stitch Fix delivery for mid- July. Can't wait!

Have a great weekend!

QOTD: If I run one, it's very rare. I did it once, and my oldest son was its me. He had to tell me that I'd run it. I'd driven through the intersection when the left arrow turned green. I was going straight. There wasn't a car in the oncoming left lane,so nothing bad happened as a result, thank goodness, but I was shaken up by the fact that I'd done it without any hesitation: talk about the mother of all brain farts. I had to pull over and collect myself.

Menu for today so far

B: coffee with cream and Splenda ( nothing solid..slept in )

L: 2.5 oz lunch meat, 1 slice of Muenster cheese, and a small open faced PB&J "sandwich".  ( Made from almond and coconut flour-it's actually a pizza crust recipe I found online, but I use it for a bread alternative. ) I hadn't had PB&J anything in a LONG time. Yum.

S: TBD, might be Greek yogurt with half a scoop of protein powder added.

D: Grilled shrimp, small serving of a tomato salad I made.

Looks like I may fall short on protein today. No bueno.

Water and Vites on board.

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

QOTD: I hate to admit it but I use to run them quite frequently. Our city is installing red light cameras in the next year so I am already forcing myself to make sure I stop when it's yellow. Now it's less common but there is still room for improvement before those cameras get installed! lol

Not a lot of plans today. I did get a pixie cut (my hair was shoulder length) and I haven't gone so short since high school. I'm surprised how much I like it...hopefully it isn't too difficult to style in the mornings.

B: 1 piece of toast with chez whiz

L: Asparagus with parmesan cheese, a cheese string and half a pork kabob. I wanted the whole thing but it had a lot of fat to pick away at...

Sn: Protein shake

D: Baked tofu, homemade greek salad

Sn: a few crackers with cheese OR a piece of fruit

Ex: a 20 min training run
