What's on your Saturday Menu, RNYers?
Morning!! It is a gorgeous day! Today I'm taking my son to their usuals ( piano, gymnastics) and then the younger wants to go to skyzone. I may actually jump with him! Also need to take care of Father's Day.
I've been out running already and am headed to weigh****chers. QOTD: I stop at red lights. I wa**** by a car as a teenager, and that has always left me cautious when driving. Now Yellow lights... As I once told an officer...yellow means be prepared to stop...I wasn't prepared.

On babysitting duty today, and no one will be offering me food, except what I eat myself... so no carbs today. carbs beget hunger, and I am so hungry this AM. Drank a protein shake and it is not cutting it.
QOTD: In NY I generally stop...for my life....out here near my son's the lights are so short I have been totally taking them as suggestions...

I'm glad it's Saturday but as a teacher all the days kind of seem the same to me withone exception: I don't feel guilty about being lazy on Saturday, lol. The lawn really needs mowed but it's hot already and supposed to be 95 today. Im going to take a walk and then stay in the a/c today.
Qotd: I ran red lights all the time in my teens and 20s but with increased age, and a better understanding of the cost of a ticket, I don't run them anymore.
I'm not doing well at planning my food in the morning and sticking to it. I have a general idea but adjust as the day goes on. Not sure if this is a bad habit or just a reality of not having a set schedule in the summer.
So here's my stats from yesterday. It was an empty pouch day so my calories are a little high.

Happy Saturday JB & gang, this is a fly by post as I have lots to do today! So far my bday is going amazing! Got my fav coffee made for me by hubby and he even put in a capfull of Miralax in it for me (as that is how I drink it every morning), you know its love and he's a keeper if he is putting that in my coffee LOL LOL. Then he made breakfast for me!!
Today is a lot of running around with errands and then out to my parents for a big family bbq to celebrate my bday & Fathers Day. Taking my new car!!!! Will post pics on Monday for you all!!
QOTD: well it really depends where I am, when I am driving in downtown Toronto and the drivers there are crazy and aggressive then red lights are like you said a "suggestion", but when I get back home to the suburbs where I live and its a lot of soccer Mom types then I stop at all the red lights/slow down or stop at yellows. So it truly depends if I am city driving or suburb driving.
B: scrambled eggs & turkey kielbasa
L: not sure, running around doing errands but I will bring a Mission 1 protein bar with me and some almonds
D: BBQ!!! I will have an open face cheeseburger, no bun and my Mom makes this amazing salad that has mandarin oranges, slivered almonds, red onion, its my fav so ya there will be salad!! There will be some dessert, I mean it is my bday LOL LOL
S: if I am hungry later on when I get home, which is unlikely but if I am I will have some shrimp & ****tail sauce
Vits are done, coffee & tea and water with splash of SF cranberry juice is on the menu for today. No exercise today, too busy running errands etc will have to do double tomorrow ha ha ha ha
Have a great Saturday everyone!!
