I'll try to get him to take a pic of me in my old time dress. Post op 45.5 months and weight at 119 today. 3.2 mile walk with Lily done already and I will do 30 minutes on the bike later. Beautiful weather with less humidity today. Here's the food for the day B 1/2 c steel cut oats with protein and peanut butter added L 31/2 oz deli turkey and cheese 1 hard boiled egg D 31/2 oz chicken straps with 1/2 c lettuce mix and blue cheese crumbles S Pure protein chocolate protein bar. Have a great day everyone and make some wonderful choices!
Morning JB! I havent posted on a Saturday in forever! My house is quiet, the kids are still sleeping and I'm drinking a cup of coffee before starting for the day. I have to go pick up some balloons for my Nephew's grad party today, and then see what else they need.
I ran that 5k last night and did well, considering it was 90 degrees and I had been up for 14 hours when the race started. My official time was 44:47, which was 22 seconds slower than my fastest time. It was HOT, and I feel a bit dehydrated today. After the race, we went to Denny's and I ate a whole breakfast! I don't know how I ate the whole Chicken Fried Steak, two over medium eggs AND hashbrowns, but they all fit in my pouch. It was enough calories in that meal for a while day for me. Like 900 calories. I logged it in myfitnesspal. My day came in at 69 carbs, even with all the food. the calories were mostly from fat. That being said I'm at my lowest weight this morning of 165.2. Yesterday morning I was 165.8. I think I was able to shed a lot of water weight I was holding onto.
I don't really have a plan for the day today. So far just coffee, but I'll log everything and try to get on in the morning to update.

I forgot to answer your QOTD! So, I always stop at red lights. I live in the suburbs, and don't drive in the city often, and running lights out here is a recipe for disaster. If I lived downtown, or even just in the city of Detroit, I would likely run reds. It has been commonly known that if you sit at a red light in the City of Detroit, you may well be carjacked. Obviously, that is a broad statement, but there are some areas that I would not sit at a light at.
Here's a wonderful urban story. Last year my SIL got married at a Mosque in a bad area of Detroit. As we were leaving the Mosque, in the evening, we were driving slowly down a side street waiting for my FIL to turn out of the lot and catch up. My hubby was driving, and we were literally just rolling down the road. There were a pair of teenagers hanging out in a yard, and when they saw us driving so slowly down the street they jumped up and ran in the house fast. I had to tell my husband to speed up because he was scaring people, he had no idea and I didn't realize until I saw their reaction. I was afraid they would come out with guns and we had the kids in the car with us.
My boyfriend works for the UAW in Detroit and that city scares the bejeezus out of me!!

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday!
QOTD: I try not to run red lights. I run yellow lights and some of them are pretty "orange" by the time I go through them.
Yesterday I ate: a protein drink, a Clif protein bar, chicken breast w/ mashed potatoes & gravy, Mr. Cheese O's, 2 string cheese sticks & an Atkin's snack bar. Today will probably be similar.
Have a great Saturday and a great weekend!

QOTD : Never. My dad taught me to drive defensively because people are idiots. I even slow down at intersections when the light is green because of that same reason. Too many people I know have been hit even when they are following all the rules.
Trying to get back on track. I am a teacher and off for the summer. My routine is off, I am bored, and yeah, I need to stop making excuses. I am still under my goal weight, but I hate being even close to it.
Today I am going to keep busy so that I do not eat out of boredom.
