What's On Your Thursday Menu, RNYers?
if you are a revision and don't have enough body fat - and you have been following low carb diet - YOU need carbs - to reload your reserves... to help with healing and recovery..
You may try to dilute them even initially and watch your BS levels. If you are following low carb diet - the BS may go up and drop down very fast. It even happens to a lot of "normies" who follow keto style diet and then decide to have one cheat meal..

Yep, I'm a revision and we both agreed that unlike my first surgery, my body doesn't have enough fat reserves to get me through the first few weeks. So, we're using these shakes to "fatten" me up!
Good point about the BS levels. I am definitely not used to eating 45 carbs at a time, since I'm usually around 40-45 for the entire day!
Hi Fellow RNY'ers
I have a stinkin cold and sadly my appetite is not less I think I am the only one that when sick I want to eat more. WTHeck? I am happy to report Rocky came through like a champ and is eating a soft food phase for RNY
Breakfast - scrambled eggs?
Lunch - Turkey breast and fresh maters from the garden?
Dinner - steak and salad?
Snack - cheese?
? because who knows what my cold will lead me to eat. I know, I know, blame it on the cold.
I saw the 5 day meat eating plan. Did Grim write that?
Hugs to you all!
