My plan says 1/4 cup until 3 months, 1/2 cup until 6 months, 3/4 cup until 1 year and 1 cup at a year and beyond.  I will be 3 months out next week.  I find that I am usually eating around 1/2 cup.  It's tricky because I can't stomach protein shakes so I try to eat more meat at meals to make my protein goal.  I have also added in some fruit which has dramatically helped my bathroom issues.  I am still losing at a pretty good rate so I'm not too concerned.  I see my nutritionist on Tuesday so hopefully she will be okay with what I'm doing.

I did 2 ounces (1/4 cup) for about 2 months, then 3 ounces for about 4 months and I've been doing 4 ounces ever since and am still 90% of the time doing 4 ounces. I almost always get below 800 calories at 15 months out, I had a LOT of weight to lose and I still have at least 15  pounds left to go.

I'm 1 month out. If I try to eat anything soft (and I'm only doing high protein things), I can barely get 1/4C down... I do better with tuna and fish... but any other meat, and I'm miserable for hours if I eat more than a tablespoon or two. I feel like really, I'm still doing best with pureed foods. Yesterday a coworker and I went to lunch at a BBQ joint... I got chopped brisket, green beans and spicy beans... I had maybe 1T of the meat, and just a few bites of the rest... I was sick for like 7 hours after...

I sometimes get a little bummed because I can't do 'solid' foods yet... but I'll just go with the flow and stick with the pureed stuff a bit longer.

We are surgery buddies, same day!

One kind of meat that I find really tolerable is shaved turkey breast from the deli. If I get the non spiced up kind and so so thin, it kind of melts in my mouth.

wow. Reading this is enlightening.

I'm 6 weeks out. And I've been "full" twice

I have to weigh my foods, 2-3 oz of protein, then two 1/4 cup portions of veggies and carbs. Sometimes, I have a bit more than 1/2 cup on the sides of the protein. I don't feel like my pouch is as small as everyone else's.

I have the "urge to eat" a LOT, and I fill that with sugar free popsicles, which my NUT said count as fluid - sometimes I have as many as 8 per day, mainly after work.
