What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning! QOTD: I cycle through cheese sticks, yogurt, chicken nibblers, and protein bars depending on the occasion and whether refrigeration is available. Sometimes I get too fond of one option so change to another before 'goto snack' becomes an excuse to graze.
Am off to Toronto today for my friend's exhibit reception, to be followed by a dinner in an Italian restaurant. Menu for the day is mostly unknown, other than chicken for breakfast and cheese sticks and a protein bar for the road. Tomorrow will be shopping and touristing (maybe a gallery or two) and traveling, so food for Thursday will be foraged from available options. I can always find a burger place and ditch the bun if nothing else suitable presents.
See you all on Friday!

Good morning OH Support Team!
Glad you are feeling chipper this morning AV. Hubby done good. I am feeling to opposite of chipper. My appointment went kind of sideways with my surgeon yesterday afternoon.
Turns out I haven't been feeling blah for purely emotional reasons. My iron is apparently dangerously low. It gets better. He doesn't actually think it is related to my RNY. He is concerned it is something 'else'. Possibly because I asked him to check out this weird sore lump I found in my breast a few weeks ago and apparently weird sore lumps in the breast are not weight loss related. Hmm. So...I am scheduling a diagnostic digital fancy pants mammogram and waiting for a call from the oncologist he referred me to so I can find out what is going on. Super freaky and not at all what I was expecting.
Low iron seems to equal blah mood and super tired for me. Uhg
Leg cramps he says are likely low magnesium so I have to get a supplement and hope they get better. Weight is great. 152! Wheee. He said my BMI is 25.5 though he said if I didn't have the loose skin I would easily be a healthy weight. We actually talked some about trying to eat more and slow down or stop the weight loss. He said most folks have a bit of a rebound so not to worry too much about it right now.
QOTD: Greek yogurt. It is my beloved friend that never leaves me in misery.
Menu:
B: Greek yogurt
L: Sliced roast beef and a slice of swiss
S: Greek yogurt or an apple (brought both not sure if the yogurt is expired...it was kinda in the back of the fridge so it looks a bit shady)
D: Grilled chicken breast and broccoli
Wish me luck and have a great day!
