What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
Good morning all! Between shark week and a migraine, I ate my way through everything yesterday. I'm not kidding, I haven't ate that much food since pre-surgery. My pouch was a never ending pit of sweet, salty and carbs. Even when I tried to reign myself in with dense protein I was still hungry. But today is a new day and I will stay on plan.
QOTD: Jerky, jerky saves me in my time of need :) I love the Golden Island Korean BBQ Pork Jerky from Costco. It has a bit of sweet with the salty that usually satisfies all my cravings.
4 Days until my half iron triathlon. I am getting super nervous. If anyone is interested in tracking me Sunday let me know and I'll get you the link to the race tracking. This is a much harder course than my 1/2 last September but I'm hoping to come in around the same time (fingers crossed). This will also give me a good read on where I am with my Ironman Wisconsin training. Less than 3 months away!!
