What's on Your Wednesday Menu, RNYers?
What up, my people?! I'm feeling strangely energetic this morning. I'm not sure what to make of that. All dress/skirt challenge enters day...something. LOL Today's outfit is white linen maxi dress with a watercolor-esque flower print. Again, my phone is still MIA, so you'll have to take my word for it that it's pretty. My mom had A LOT of dresses and I have definitely benefitted.
So, you know I've complained before about how my husband will buy in bulk when he decides he wants to grocery shop, right? Well, last night he went to Wal-Mart and without my assistance managed to buy me all kinds of protein goodies. He got me yogurt and cottage cheese and cheese sticks and shrimp and tuna pouches and pork rinds, etc. He was so proud of himself. LOL He might be a PIA sometimes but he's my lobster.
QOTD! Go to snack! If I'm crashing, I will always go for a cheese stick. Frigo Cheeseheads Light is my fave. 50 calories and 7 grams of protein can't be wrong.

Ok, Tuesday was an ass-kicker, too. I just need school to end without any more drama and violence. Inner-city schools are always intense, but when the weather gets warm, it really can get crazy. Let's all pray for 6 peaceful days.......

B: Fit Frappe Mocha (x2)
S: Oikos Triple Zero Vanilla with a scoop of Peanut Butter Protein Powder

Good morning friends! I am still slightly light headed and feeling a bit tipsy. Had my first day of Bikram yoga this morning. It was 105 f'ing degrees in there ya'll. and a 90 minute class. I would say I lasted 60 minutes of it, had to take a break 30 minutes in because I KNOW I was going to pass out cold. (Or hot, whichever it may be). I'm wondering if I should've eaten before class. The class starts at 0500 and I had to get up at 0345 to get there because it was my first one. I'm thinking tomorrow I should drink a protein shake on the way. Thoughts?
QOTD: I'm with AV on this one: cheese stick. It's super easy, I always keep them on hand and I heart cheese.
B- premier protein shake, may have some irish tea in a bit
L- 1.5 oz chicken, crumbled bacon, cojita, salsa, greek yogurt and spicy ranch dressing
D- 2 oz grilled chicken w/salsa and cheddar cheese
S- triple zero yogurt

Have a happy Wednesday!
