How would you feel ?
Wow! That is beyond offensive! If my doctor had said something like that to my husband, my husband would have put him in his place immediately. So much for bedside manner. I know I will have excess skin ( already do in my arms) but my insurance won't pay for any surgery of this type and I can't afford to pay for the surgery. I am not even sure I would want to have skin surgery. I consider the excess skin a badge of honor for my long hard-fought journey for a healthy lifestyle.

Nothing Tastes as Good as Healthy Feels!
I read through the majority of the comments and I share peoples' draw-dropping shock at his comments - not just once but twice. I would have to assume that is his standard thing to say to patients with partners. It may also be revealing the docs true feelings about the formerly MO, I'm not sure how long I could continue to be treated by him without worrying that I am getting substandard care because he thinks fat people are gross.
Some how he needs to get a clue as to how unprofessional he is coming across. Maybe printing out your post and the comments and giving it to him (or just the link) would help him get a clue.
