Protein powder consistency change question
First let me say that I just had my first 2 oz of cream of chicken soup since surgery on 6/3. Yum. You would have thought I was eating the most delicious food in the world. It's the first thing I've eaten that actually tasted good.
I added unflavored protein and thought I was careful not to heat too much, but the consistency started to change. The little clumps didn't really bother me, but I'm wondering if the protein itself (quantity/absorption) actually changed. I know I've seen the info posted before, but I can't find it. Any help from the vets?

I don't think it changes the bioavailability. Just like a cooking meat and eggs doesn't change their bioavailability
If you go back in the OH articles they did an article on this a couple of months ago. Basically, the change is minimal and you are still getting the protein.
