Glad to hear your friend is getting through.  You're a good friend to be there for her, even with all the other stuff you're going through.  She's lucky to have a friend like you.  I totally agree about "not perfect, not cured."  I'm constantly having a dialogue with my inner fat girl and have to constantly tell her to take a seat . . . it's my turn and I'm in control.  It takes constant work.  I'm grateful every day that I found such a wonderful group of people on this site.  The support and understanding you all offer is priceless to me.

Loving your outfit!  You look so great. I am right there with you on the "not cured" bit.  Last night I was a hot mess.  The menu I planned yesterday had a higher number of carbs than I have been eating but I thought that would be fine.  No worries.  Well... surprise surprise it did not go well.  I ate breakfast and lunch fine but by the time snack around 3pm arrived I was soooo hungry.  The tortilla wrap I used at lunch was a regular old tortilla and had more carbs than I usually have at lunch.  Hungry hungry hungry was all I could think. Between 3pm and 8pm I ate my grapes/blueberries...then I ate some roasted chicken and cauliflower....then I ate WAY too much popcorn. Then I was miserable pooping and hurting in my pouch so OBVIOUSLY the best thing to do was to eat something to settle my stomach (this was a common thought for me over the years, if my stomach hurt, eat something to "settle" it). So I ate some of the tuna pasta salad stuff...like a whole cup full. Misery ensued. This morning I am still nauseous and pooping like crazy.  My body says "NO!" and I think I might just be getting the message.  My plan is to try to keep the carbs lower because my body clearly is not happy with more. I haven't really had much "head hunger" since surgery but man oh man I had it last night. Uhg.

QOTD: Facebook and OH are my main sites. I don't shop online much but my teenagers love wish.com

Dress challenge day four. Going strong.  This dress is actually too big (size 10) but I find that dresses can be forgiving and look better even if they are a little big. Also...it has pockets!  Go Dress Barn.

B: Chobani Greek Simply 100 "Crunch"

D: Pork tenderloin and roasted broccoli

S: Grapes/blueberries

Thank you!

It is some sort of pseudo wet-suit stuff.  Never wrinkles feels cool when it is hot and warm enough when I am inside my medical center and normally would be freezing.  I think it is magic.  The pattern is fun too!

Hope you are having a great day!

Morning Cynthia!

Not sure what I'm eating today. All I've had is a Quest Bar today. But the good news is, I've finally gotten just about all of the excess food from last weekend gone.

I visit very few websites on a regular basis. The only sites I use every single day are this one, MyFitnessPal, and the Lost Art Press blog, a woodworking site. There are a few other woodworking sites I check in on every once in a while. But I don't do Facebook, Pinterest, or any of those kinds of things. And clothes shopping sites? I'll become a vegan first.

You look so cute in that outfit. I'm in a shopping rut because I'm kind of between sizes and it's just making me cranky, but I'm gonna try and hit up the outlets this weekend and see if I can't find some deals. I'm in desparate need of jeans and I just don't like the way they fit. I think I need to start taking my OCD/Anxiety/Depression meds again I feel it creeping and maybe I will like clothes again after my brain works out some kinks.

I szpend way too much time on the internet and I'm an Amazon junkie. Need to stop spending money!!!!

Yesterday my menu was pretty good, but I added in 1/2 a tortilla with my fajita stuffings and it made me feel too full, but I was really crving some kind of bread, guess it wasn't too bad of a choice if it holds me over for a while.

Time Since Surgery: Almost 6 Months

B: Double Scoop Unjury Shake

S: Greek Yogurt and a little fruit (Missed Breakfast in the cafeteria and had to make do at the little market in the building, it could have been much worse)

L: Probably Salad Bar Fixings, Hard Boiled Egg, grilled Chicken and some cheese

D: Hamburger and Peas

S: May add that extra shake in tonight since my menu is kind of crappy

Was going to go to the gym, but I'm just exhausted. Will try tomorrow and plan on a walk after dinner.

Yeah, Amazon...that will kill your budget.

Try Gap outlet. I did really well there recently. The old navy 'outlet' I don't find is really any different than there store...just more clearance. But the Gap outlet had some of the same stuff as the gap store at much better prices.

There jeans fit me well... and for me they had talls in the store. So excited, whereas Old Navy I always had to order online.

Good morning and happy Friday eve!  I cannot wait for this week to be over.  CQOTD:  I love Pinterest, but it is a time suck for me and I cannot under any cir****tances log on at work.  I find that some pins lead me down the rabbit hole and I look up and an hour has gone by.  Can't wait to read everyone's responses to see if there's something new for me to look at.

Here's my plan for the day

B: scramble with 2 eggs, 1 oz ham and 1 oz cheddar cheese

L: Chicken breast with mixed veggies

D: Chicken Thigh meat with Asian slaw

S: Skinny vanilla latte (I was going to bring from home, but I left my travel mug on my desk, so Starbucks it was); light and fit and if I'm hungry turkey and cheese roll up.

Totals: Cal (without the roll up) 913; Protein: 104g; Fat: 32g; Carbs: 46g (the carbs seem SUPER high but I guess its the milk/yogurt combo) crap
