Posting late, it's been a busy morning. Got home from my spin class at 9 and the emails have been non stop.
everyone is rockin the dresses, got me thinking that maybe I will try one out.

Good afternoon Friends. Today got a rough start. The A/C unit at home decided to flood the living room last night. Wheee! Had to wait at home for the repair guy to come. The good news, they got the leak squared away via my Home Warranty insurance. The bad news, that doesn't cover any of the damage to the actual dry wall and tile. Hoping to save it all once it dries out...otherwise I guess I will have to navigate making a home owners insurance claim. Lucky me!
Late to work meant there was aline of clients at my office door all clamoring. Goodness sake people...you can't all need me THAT badly. LOL

QOTD: June 17th my transgender teen and I are traveling to Oklahoma City to co present at a mental health symposium to help mental health professionals learn how to be transgender aware and supportive. He will be giving the plenary speech as well. He is fifteen and this will be his first time speaking in public. He is so excited and also totally nervous. It will be a great adventure. I couldn't be more proud of him. I am teaching with my hubby in Dallas at a weekend long relationship retreat right after that so it will be a whirlwind of a weekend.

B: Chobani Simply 100 "Crunch" (Have you guys tried these??? So tasty!)
L: Quick Wrap: Small flour tortilla wrap, 4oz roast beef slices, 1 slice cheddar cheese, Horseradish mustard
S: Grapes and blueberries (1/2 cup each)
D: Cold tuna noodle salad (1/2 cup elbow noodles, 1 can tuna, mustard, and spices)
Totals: Calories 744, Protein 64, Carbs 94, Fat 15
Bit high on the carbs but I am good with that today.

Thank you! Having a transgender child has been a tough yet exciting journey. I adore him and work my behind off to try to keep him safe and help him grow into as healthy and successful a young man as I can. Parenting 101 really...just with a twist. I just hope he is happy with how he does speaking. He is always his harshest critic. Wish us luck!
