Good morning!  This morning I biked to work in the name of bratcakes!  What is a bratcake you ask?  It's a delicious brat (sausage) surrounded by pancake and drizzled with maple syrup.  Mmmm...  So I got a 10 mile ride in this morning, then I will bike home and run as soon as I get home.  

Work has been super busy so I haven't been able to post as I usually do.  Exactly why this post is later than my usual.  Kids are out of school and summer has officially begun.  It is supposed to be 96 degrees here on Sunday.  Holy hot batman!!

June is full of stuff to do.  This weekend we have a surprise birthday party in Milwaukee on Saturday and then travel to a race in Chicago on Saturday afternoon.  Race is Sunday.  Next weekend I have a half ironman.  Following weekend we have a family wedding and then its JULY!!  

Time since surgery: 23+ months

I really am trying to swing a trip to Wisco and Chitown this year.  My hope is that I recover quickly and can make it back to work a week after surgery so I don't get guilted out of taking more time off in late summer!

Good morning everyone! Everybody looks so nice with their dresses on. I do not own any at the present because I was way to fat to wear one. I have two victories this morning. 1. I have ankles!!!! Not big fat elephant cankles. 2. I weighed this morning and I am 235.0. I haven't been this low since my three children were born. My oldest is 19. 

QOTD- June is full of traveling for rodeo Nationals. July is our vacation month.

Good morning! Cynthia, I love the shoes! I have similar shoes in coral - not Converse, but Keene.

QOTD: This month is packed full of events. Already had the meetup with friends for Stratford's Art in the Park and fine dining last weekend, and this afternoon I am going to see 'As You Like It' in Stratford. I lucked into some cheap tickets this summer - will have to buy mini-binoculars as the seats are in the nosebleed section - but very happy to be going! Next week I will be taking an overnight trip to Toronto for the reception of a friend's art exhibit and to shop for art supplies and possibly clothes if I don't blow the budget on the art supplies. The dogs are overnighting at a boarding kennel aka 'the spa'- they love the woman who runs it, so they will be in good hands. Later in the month is a solo day trip to the Niagara region to see the vineyards (no wine-tasting) and maybe a visit to Niagara Falls.

Cool, gray and windy here today. Definitely sweater or jacket weather.

Good Morning Everyone and Happy June!

I love Summer!

Dress / skirt challenge:  I don't have any that aren't too big.  I need to go shopping.

QOTD:  June 14th is my 60th Birthday!  Dang, I sure don't FEEL that OLD!  My daughter and I are having a joint Graduation Party / 60th Birthday Party Celebration at a local lake for our large family later on in June.  If we can get everyone to come it should be a fun time!  We will have pot luck and everyone always brings good stuff to eat.

Yesterday I ate:  a protein shake, a power bar protein bar, 2 string cheese sticks, 1/2 a beef and broccoli meal, and an Atkin's snack bar.  Today will probably be somewhat similar.

Exercise:  Yesterday we walked the dogs and plan to again today.
