What is on your Wednesday Menu RNYers?

Hello friends:

The weather is beautiful here in Boston: about 65-70 F and sunny. We're having an off site all staff meeting today so we'll finish the work day early and I'll drive home :) I'm trying to psych myself into going to Hot Yoga at 6pm.

Last night's Indian dinner with my mom went pretty well. She hasn't historically liked Indian food but the place we went to was really good. She had an eggplant dish that was quite tasty (and I don't normally like eggplant). I had chicken tikka masala but only ate a little bit: I'm not quite sure it agrees with Alberta or if I just chewed too fast; I may have to adjust what I like in Indian food :/

QOTD: June 23 is my birthday, so I want to do something for that; maybe I'll look for a live theater show we can go to; I love live theater and don't get to go often. Otherwise, nothing is planned. We're going to Colorado in July; my dad is from there and my massive Irish/German Catholic family still lives there.

Time since surgery: Just over 2 months

B: Large coffee with cream and splenda, and a protein cheesecake

L: Leftover indian food: a bit of chicken, bit of egg plant and two pieces of Naan

D: No idea.

I already took my vitamins and calcium alarms are on my phone.

What is Hot Yoga?

Hot Yoga is (at least at the studio I go to) a practice of Vinyasa Flow yoga performed in a room heated to about 90 degrees. The goal is that the heat relaxes your muscles which allows you more flexibility.

I love it. Relaxes my mind and I sweat a lot and feel very accomplished.

you totally need to go- I have not done hot yoga yet, but have done alignment, restorative, flow, and a few others.

Just in case I'm never heard from again, everyone here should know I've been paloozed to death.

I don't know exactly what she has planned, but I'm not allowed to bring pants of any kind.

There are worse ways to go than being paloozed to death. With or without pants....
