What is on your Wednesday Menu RNYers?
God Morning Cyndy! Thanks for taking the time to set up the thread, I always look forward to it!
Here is my pic for dress week. I swear, I changed dresses 2 times before I settled on this one. I really need to go shoe shopping, because I have a cute maxi dress I want to wear but it's a deep brown and turquoise, but I have no shoes that will go with it. I was so trying to find something that would work with it, but ended up switching over to this cute little dress I got at the clearance side of Charming Charlie when we were out at the Outlet Mall a few weeks ago. I had my coworker snap a pic for me, lol.
another outfit that makes me look prego! I can't wait to get a tummy tuck!
So, surprise surprise, I am meeting Cheapskate for lunch today! She is in town dropping a child off for a summer job, and is getting a DEXA scan at the office that I went through, and then we're hooking up for lunch. I'm just taking an early extended lunch from work. We're going to a local BBQ place and I have no idea what I'll be having, but it will obviously be protein forward! I'll make sure to get some pics!

CQOTD: I have a bunch of stuff going on in June. This weekend I'm throwing that party, next weekend I'm running a 5k and then have graduation party for my nephew. then my oldest is leaving for Ecuador on the 20th, and my hubby and I both decided to take the day off and take the baby to the Zoo that day. I have another 5k on Saturday the 25th and then that's it for the month. I expect a lot of BBQ in my back yard with the family and likely some fun stuff. I know for the 4th of July we are hosting a big BBQ and my father in law is setting off like $1000 worth of fireworks in HIS front yard (they live on the next block over, we do the cookout and they do the fireworks - thank God).
Also, Cyndy, I LOVE the skirt and I love the Chucks. I have been a fan of Converse since I was a teenager. I was in the punk/skater scene in the late 80's and early 90s and it was either Chucks or Doc Martens... I was poor, so the Docs were hard to come by. I ended up settling for a pair of Carolinas Combat Boots from the Army Surplus store.
I had a pair of Doc Martens, back in the day.... You have a busy June!
Please tell me more about this ancient grains wrap. Link? info? Where did you find it? Breakfast sounds delicious...

I found them at my local Meijer's and they are good. The stats are:
60 calories 5 protein 13 carbs 2 fat for a full wrap. I use half because I can't take the bulk of a whole wrap. They are pretty neutral in flavor and not really bulky at all. I just found this one last weekend and I think I'll stick with it for a bit. It's got a little more carbs than my usual wrap but has 20 less calories per wrap. The stats for the La Banderita is 81 calories, 5 protein and 11 carbs per full wrap. They are a little bit more bulky than the Tumaro's as well. The La Banderita taste better, but I'm all abut the calories right now, lol.
Thanks! Actually the store locator says some of my local stores carry the Tumaro's... I've never noticed, so I will have to look.

Typed a reply earlier, but something glitchy happened. Oh well.
Sending prayers for AV and family today. Love the skirt and chucks Cynthia.
June plans are a Capo family get-together this Saturday, our niece from Virginia and her family are here for the weekend. Next week my sister's 3 boys have a graduation party, 2 from college and one from high school. Plans for the rest of the summer are up in the air. I am taking some time off in July, but hubby is supposed to have training for his current job, or he may have a new job by then if today's interview works out. Keeping fingers crossed.

Good Morning! Thanks for getting us started again. We are a converse family and between the three of us have easily over 2 dozen pairs-and I have the LEAST! Love your skirt-super cute. It's the promotion day for Em-so proud of her and still can't believe tomorrow is her last day as a 6th grader (I know it's silly to promote today and then go back tomorrow morning for awards).
QOTD: I am so happy you're getting to go see the family. I have nothing scheduled for June at the moment. We usually take a drive to the beach or something like that.
Here is what I know of my menu today:
Time since surgery: 21 months
B: P3 pack
L: TBD, I assume Em will want to go to lunch so probably grilled chicken
S:SF latte, L&F Greek yogurt, pork rinds and turkey sticks
D: Egg beaters with shredded cheese, a slice of bacon and SF pudding
E: 6 miles in at the gym this morning (not normally a gym day but I figured I had extra time)
V/W: On track
