What is on your Wednesday Menu RNYers?
Was nominated by Daisy yesterday to stand in for our fearless leader AV...taking the challenge. AV we are thinking about you and Matt's family. Up really early and frustrated. Haven't slept well the last nights, this morning figured 'well, I'll get my workout in early'...nope. DVD player decided to crap out on me. Finally got it 'on' and it is still not working. Boo Hoo... and the Dvd stuck in there is my girlfriend's while I am waiting for mine to arrive in the mail...
So the unofficial dress/skirt challenge continues... I noticed in stores denim skirts and skorts have made a comeback...skorts not for me, they are too short....went with this denim skirt from Gap Outlet yesterday. Size 8. still can't wrap my head around that... oh and love my Converse... couldn't buy them when I was heavy, I guess my feet were too wide...now I love them.
QOTD: June is the unofficial prequel to summer - summer but not quite summer..... got any June plans?
Next week I am driving to Chicago to visit my son and family!! We just decided this week...that is the good thing about being a 'driver' you can get up and go...and this is the perfect time, long days and warm weather. I get into the zone and go. I usually stop overnight on the way to Chicago, but on the way home, i do 15 hours straight... by myself. If I leave there at 9am, I am home and jumping into bed at 1am. If you are on a roadtrip and you have a chance to stop at a Sheetz truck/gas stop. Go for the house blend coffee... not sure what is in it, but have considered taking it to a lab for testing... rocket fuel...LOL.

I am having an CAMAW-type day maybe throw in a salad somewhere. Since Sunday, when I go to eat, first bite and every other bite after that feels like it is stuck in the back of my throat..I know it is not really stuck, just feels that way.

Cynthia, your skirt and chucks are super cute. I have on scrubs today, I'm working OT after my regular job from 4pm-MN. I did that last night too and I am dragging butt today. I'm saving the money for our Hawaii trip in December. I think after these shifts and one this weekend I will have enough to rent our tiny cottage for the week! Hooray!
QOTD: nothing big in June. I'm off the whole week of July 4th, but money is tight right now with DH being unemployed, so probably will do a couple of small day trips to canoe and maybe to a local amusement park that week. (Insert: DH has job interview today--keep your fingers and toes crossed!)

That dress is from Walmart, I got it for $9...its a size MEDIUM from the JUNIOR's department!!! The sweater I stole from my daughter's closet and it is an XS, hahahahaha it's tight, but fits. I had to put a pic of these awesome sandals I got at Maurices, I love them so much!!
QOTD: We are leaving for vacation on June 24th and coming back July 1st. We will be camping at Acadia National Park in Maine. I am excited...and super nervous about a whole week of having no routine. I THRIVE with a routine....and just hope to not gain a bunch of weight! lol

I REALLY need to get into a workout routine....I am having a hard time finding time to do it. Its so busy right now with softball and t-ball and karate. Pretty much every night there is something I need to go to. So my choices are stay up way too late and work out after the boys go to bed, or early in the morning before they get up. I don't like either of these options, they means less sleep.
