What is on your Tuesday Menu RNYers?
Good Morning Everyone!
You look awesome, Cynthia and Deanna! I don't have ANY dresses or skirts that fit any more. I guess I need to go hit the thrift stores!
QOTD: I haven't tried them yet, but I have several packages of Mr. Cheese O's on order. I keep seeing them on JB's menu and they sound so good. I looked them up and they are high in protein and low in carbs so I ordered several large bags of them. I'm excited to try them!
What I ate yesterday was: a protein shake, a protein bar, 2 string cheese sticks, a burrito, an Atkin's snack bar and a protein bar. Today will probably be similar. I seem to be having problems with nausea if I eat real food (doesn't happen if I eat protein bars or cheese sticks) and diarrhea.
Exercise: Hoping to take the dogs for a walk today. We've been lax about that lately.
Have a wonderful day everyone!
~ Karen
You are still early out... keep on trying things. You never know when it will start 'agreeing' with you. I couldn't eat tuna the first 6 months... then it was OK.

Lots of coffee with sf salted carmel flavoring. End of quarter up at work and I got to get lots done!
Breakfast: Protein shake made with unsweetened mango juice (1 cup), 1/4 cup frozen pineapple, 6 frozen strawberries, 1 scoop protein powder vanill, a frozen banana. and 1/4 cup plain greek yogurt. I have a feeling there is lots of calories in it and this is why it tasted good.... It is hot and yucky out...all I want is cold food.
Lunch. 1 piece of ezekial bread (sprouted grain), dijon mustard, deli turkey.
Pre-workout: 1/2 cup cantalope
Post work out: 1/4 cup cottage cheese 4% milk fat
Dinner: 1 cup bariatric chili (kidney beans, refried beans, black beans, ground turkey, sriacha, salsa, onion, green pepper)
RNY Surgery: 12/31/2013;
Current weight (2/27/2015) 139lbs, ~14% body fat
Three pounds below Goal!!! Yay !
menu sounds delicious... including the smoothie, there probably are a lot of calories in it, but as long as it works in maintenance - go for it once in awhile. Sometimes things need to taste good.
