What is on your Tuesday Menu RNYers?
Good morning! I love the dress! I love finding Costco and Sams sales.
QOTD- I started using the Vanilla Premier Protein Shake and one tsp of PB2. It is delicious and gave me the different taste I need. I have found Palmetto Pimento Cheese also. It is so good and no carbs.

"Oh give thanks to the Lord for he is good!"
Look at you!!! You are so teeny tiny!!!
I had a good therapy session last night, I/we are working on me adding more foods back into my menu (i.e. less shakes), which scares me a bit. I mean I have having trouble staying at goal doing what I am doing....adding food in makes me all sorts of nervous. But she is worried I am being too restrictive with myself
I am also going to try adding some solid/dense proteins back in, even if it is just a bite or two. And seeing how it goes.
QOTD: I am always making new recipes. Although recently they have been mostly tofu recipes. I also don't eat much meat now lol Lets seeeeeeeeeee Sausage & Ricotta stuffed peppers

I am so proud of you for stepping outside of what you're comfortable with. I know that it's hard, but I honestly believe that if you add solids back into your diet you'll be less hungry and less likely to binge during moments of weakness.
I've also decided, after getting back to the gym this morning, that I have to straighten up and fly right. This means for me No wine during the week and no more sneaking simple carbs like cookies and crackers in.
I've got your back! You know that you can message me at anytime that you need someone to vent to or just to keep yourself on track.
I am hardly ever physically hungry, but that damn head hunger gets me EVERY TIME.
I was telling my therapist that I have no HAPPY MEDIUM, I am either spot on following my "strict" plan, or I am off the walls crazy. We are going to work on it. Especially when I feel like I am unstructured..hello weekends, this always sends me into a binge.
So glad you are working things through with you counselor. It sounds like you two are making great progress. I've been thinking I might need to go see someone myself to get a handle on my 'transfer addiction.' I had quit smoking for a while before surgery and now I am back at it. I didn't think about it as a transfer until I was reading the Emotional First Aid book (http://www.amazon.com/Emotional-First-Aid-Kit-Practical/dp/0 976852659) section on addictions and thought...oh crap that might be me. I wonder if for you the shakes are in that transfer spot? I was really surprised at the percentage of us that do transfer in some way. It makes sense but it still sort of threw me. Anyway, hoping you have a great day!

"I am basically food's creepy ex-girlfriend. I know we can't be together anymore but I just want to spend time hanging out" ~me, about why I love cooking so much post WLS
I am seeing my counselor next week for the same reason. I have a more varied menu, but if I don't know exactly the nutrition count I don't want to eat it. That keeps. Me shake and processed food heavy which is. Not what I want long term
